MWS is a regional organization drawing participants from over 200 Massachusetts cities and towns. Over 100 full and part-time member musicians participate in an average of 40 rehearsals and 10 performances annually. Total concert attendance averages over 18,000 for the past seven seasons, a majority of those at "free" community outreach performances where we often accompany fireworks displays. Services for all MWS performances are donated by the members.
