I have been trying to contact Eric, the sales manager, to discuss canceling my contract. Eric is never available and I have been told that I will have to pay a 15% penalty even though Universal Direct has not measured or ordered any of the windows. The sales representative was at my house for at least 6 hours and quoted me one price and then called Eric and dropped the price considerably. However, I have been quoted much lower prices from multiple competitors. I caved in to a High Pressure Sales technique. I called 5 days after signing an online contract. I am still waiting for a response. I have been told that I will not hear from Eric for 24-48 hours. Due to personal reasons, I was unable to cancel the contract by the third day. I have to cancel this contract and I feel that if I am unable to get my money back that I am being taken advantage of. The company has not spent any money on this transaction.

Devin W**** gave an outstanding presentation of Universal Windows Direct, down to the little details that make a window energy-efficient, secure, easy to clean, open close and maintain. Zeroing in on details that one doesn't know are important to the efficient operation and durability of the window and what other brand name window installers don't tell you about. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the windows. They have the quality that I want in windows with a lifetime warranty that I most likely won't need to use.
