I had high expectations for doing business with Dave Gill but and am disappointed. My last issue Oct 2023 car brought in for minor collision damage . A few weeks later after damage was repaired to the rear bumper, on my way home I noticed one of my radio buttons was missing. Brought back in and was told pictures taken before and after verified the button was intact at drop off and must have came off during auto detailing. I was told would talk with manager and call me to advise when this could be corrected. I have called several times, left messages and here we are in March 2024 and I haven't heard from anyone at Dave Gill.Review from Robert E

**** **** scheduled me for a Transmission Evaluation a couple weeks out. I checked their rating, and they are less than a 2 on the reviews. I called there once, and asked to speak with the supervisor for service. I left a voice mail. She never called me back. I called again and asked to speak with the supervisor for service. I left a voice mail again. She finally called me back. I wanted to know why their rating was less than 2. She told me to go to another repair facility. That is her solution to customers ?????? Why will another dealer get me in in less than a week ??????? **** **** is a BIG JOKE if they will not handle a problem. SLOW IS NOT THE WORD !!!!! **** **** is a JOKE !!!!!!!!!!!Review from BRANDY B

This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had with a dealership. They sold me a faulty car and have made excuse after excuse for me to get it fixed. BY FAR THE WORST OF THE WORST!Review from Matt D

Best shop Ive ever worked with! The communication from **** in Service was beyond perfect!***** the **************** Manager, couldnt have been more helpful fitting me in while brakes were getting done on my 2015 Camaro Z/28! I now have a front tow hook that I hope to never use while driving the car on road courses (as it was intended from the factory).Total professional staff, I couldnt recommend more!Review from Courtney E

This company is violating Federal law and abusing the rights of unsuspecting consumers. I have been violated under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Truth in Lending Act, and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act ("****"). I have attempted to resolve this matter privately and amicably but Dave Gill Chevrolet ("dealership") insists on violating me so I am now making this a public matter. My next step is to file a lawsuit in federal court to hold all responsible parties accountable. I am in fact the original creditor for the transaction to purchase a vehicle for personal, family and household purposes. I granted credit to the dealership which in turn made the dealership the Creditor. The dealership stays in business by preying on unsuspecting consumers regarding fictious obligations which is a crime under 18 U.S.C. 514. The dealership used false and misleading representations during my consumer credit transaction. I have requested that all credits and refunds be issued to me. I have rescinded the transaction numerous times and now I have a claim under the **** pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1691(a)(3), "It shall be unlawful for any creditor to discriminate against any applicant, with respect to any aspect of a credit transaction because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under this chapter". The dealership hired an individual who identified as an attorney which violates 15 U.S. Code 1692e(3). The individual who implied he was an attorney implied I am not entitled to requested refunds and credits which violates 15 U.S. Code 1692e(6)(A) and 15 U.S. Code 1692e(6)(B). The dealership uses extortionate means to collect on extensions of credit which violates 18 U.S.C. 894(a)(1). I have been subjected to abusive, deceptive, and unfair debt collection practices.Dave Gill Chevrolet Response

At *****************, we pride ourselves in taking consumer complaints with the utmost seriousness. We previously conducted a comprehensive and thorough investigation into the allegations from this consumer. The investigation revealed that the allegations are factually and legally without merit. We attempted to explain this to the consumer, but she has persisted in pressing these allegations against *****************. We understand that the consumer filed a lawsuit alleging these claims against the finance company involved in this sale, and that lawsuit was recently dismissed for failing to state a claim.Review from Monica M

This ******************* have NO integrity. They say one thing & do another. They dont follow up with customers after leaving multiple ****************** about an issue with billing & service I still havent received a call. This company is money hungry & move as such. Once they have your money anything is irrelevant. The company lack professionalism & efficient communication skills. DO NOT GO youll be out of money & the customer service is nonexistent. I bought a car from them approximately 90 days ago. I have repeatedly called and told them that there was something wrong with the vehicle. I was assured that everything was fine and that the truck was in good condition. As I was driving, the check engine light came on and the vehicle began to lose the ability to accelerate and decrease in speed without jerking and feeling as though it would completely break down. I had to immediately turn on my hazards, exit the highway, and safely get to the dealership. I was told I would need to pay for a diagnostic test to determine the cause of the problem. Again, I have only had the truck for 90 days, who would sell a car to someone knowing that it would only work for 3 months. Unethical, dishonorable, unprofessional, deceitful, negligent, and just downright wrong. It is so hurtful to see people who value money over people. I have not even received a phone call to explain what is wrong with my truck. I thought that this dealership would be different.Review from Alisa A.

Took my car in for service due to check engine light was on. When work was completed and I picked up my car noticed that the hood of the car was not even and there were 2 scratches on my passenger side above my wheel area that was not there. Also, there was a small scratch on front top of hood. They tried to tell me that it was already there. My son asked to see the pictures that were taken but they only showed one photo. I left my car there because I had to go back to work informed ***** I would be back for a resolution. Well upon arriving back. ***** then introduced me to ***** who was over here. They're telling me that they did not do the damage and tried to tell me my car was in an accident because the whole front end was shifted but this was not mentioned in the initial call about what was wrong with the car. There is a scratch on my headlight(my damage) but it was evenly across. I pick my car up and the scratch isn't even anymore. Then there was an issue with my headlights not been incorrectly. They removed my bumper but they did not putty car back together and all they are offering is to fix the scratches. I don't understand how can this be good business. I could have took my car to the back alley mechanic or a mechanic outside of ***** if this is how you treat your customers. Horrible customer service experience. Very unhappy and paid over $1100
