I have contacted Tex collect numerous times over the last 2 years. I have called them waited on hold for too long-been disconnected and when I have waited. I spoke with the business that established the original debt, I was told that the matter of dispute would be dealt with and it was not. I have spoke to *** and they have stated they would put in my file that this was the situation and it still hasn't been resolved. I have been dealt with rudely as well at times from different agents regarding. Still this bill is on my credit. Tried calling today again disconnected after prompting the department que. I'm extremely frustrated this debt is proven fraudulent to the establishment with documentation to prove it. Why is this still on my credit why can't I get a hold of anybody why is it so hard to deal with these type of issues. Extremely bad business ethic to continue to report a fraudulent claim with no execution of settlement of a situation regarded and discussed and dealt with numerous times!!Review from Jamie M

I have been receiving debt bills from TekCollect that are UNPROFESSIONAL and rude! I have insurance with 2 different insurance companies and I also spoke with the dental office the debt is coming from which has OVERCHARGED me beyond belief. I am a single mother living with cancer during Covid and you want to smash my credit report with a medical **** when I have insurance.

TekCollect will contact the Dental Practice and inform them of the consumer's dispute concerning the billing. We shall inquire about insurance, and see if the insurance has been billed, or if it can be rebilled.Review from Tara S.

This company doesn't actually know what one side of the office is doing from the other side.I received a request for an outstanding ****.I asked for the outstanding ****. I went to the original creditor who provide me with the **** that said that I don't owe any money to them or to Tek Collect I called up Tek Collect with that information, the person who answered the phone wouldn't give me his name and just gave me an address to send the dispute form to.I followed his instructions to a T. I have now received a final notice from the company and I am going to have to waste my time tomorrow on the phone with them getting another run around. This is not a proper nor effective way to conduct business. Run a report on your clients database, don't pull out random data, pull the actual running total for the outstanding account and then get back to me when you use your tek to collect.Tek-Collect Incorporated Response

After searching our database, we find no record under the of the consumer. Might this account be under another person's name? May we have more information please as we want to try and assist. I have provided your dispute department via fax and via direct email and I have not been provided with any update on my issue. Unfair FCRA practices i get a ding on my credit monitoring services from. Tekcollect i never signed a contract with this business or never received any notice about a debt thats unfair practices and from reading all the reviews it looks like they are doing this to everyone but Ill be reaching out to my attorney For acct# **** it says creditor prime dentistry i never received anything from this collection agencyTek-Collect Incorporated Response

TekCollect sent notices to the consumer's address on 04/26/2021, 05/26/2021, 06/10/2021, and 07/10/2021. TekCollect has placed a dispute hold on the consumer's account, while we contact the Dental Practice for validation of the account, which we will forward to the consumer.Review from Vince F.

I had an accidental unpaid urgent care **** from 2018. The urgent care had a previous address of mine and the correct phone number but never bothered to call about the unpaid ****. 100% my fault, I was contacted by Tek Collect and they stated that if I sent a certified check to them they would remove the collection from my credit profile not just update it as paid. Needless to say I sent the payment as instructed same day and the collection was not removed just marked as paid. I understand that this is my fault but apparently do not trust Tek collect and agent **** to honor their word.Tek-Collect Incorporated Response

Continues to call and ask for another person. Will not state why or who their client is. Extremely rude and unprofessional and feels like a scam. Without knowing the nature of the call, nobody should provide any information and this company should be investigated.Tek-Collect Incorporated Response
