We made an appt for a inspection and sweep/cleaning for our pellet stove. We were told it would be $249. The guy got to our house and was there less than 20 mins to tell us the venting was not properly place right and that they could not do anything more due to liability, which I completely understand and would not want them to go against code. But we were then charged $170 for a "10 min inspection" to be told nothing could be done, not given any info on repairs or cost to fix the issue. Was told the guy didn't even really know much about the pellet stove himself. I called and spoke to Valerie who answers the phones and she was very understanding at first and told me she would only charge us for 129 which is the fee for a service call and that she could send us a check for the difference that was charged, then I was placed on hold while she went and spoke to someone by the name of Katie and came back on the line to tell me that she actually had to write it up and take it to be approved by the owner since the inspection report was already written up and emailed to us. Just sounded very unprofessional after telling me one thing and being charged $170 for nothing now we are out money to even be able to fix the repair ourselves. Very bad business.
