They dont like breeders and insist on spaying A referral from another vet sent me there stating my dog needed surgery They refused Insisted on redoing all the tests their own and charging me Insisted on more tests and overnight stays at cost Finally surgery then spayed her because it was easier for them versus what I asked them to save it. Told them to remove kidney since recovery wa safer, yet Dr argued and contradicted herself so now she has a 5-7 day hospital stay at cost with higher risk of more issues They encourage more costly procedures to rack up the bill they dont care

*****************, we appreciate you sharing your experience with us, and we sincerely apologize for any frustration or disappointment you may have felt during your visit. Our commitment at MissionVet is to prioritize the health and well-being of our patients, and we regret if our communication and approach did not meet your expectations.

We want to assure you that we stand firmly behind the decisions made by our experienced medical team. Your pet was referred for one specific type of surgery, but upon presentation and examination at MissionVet she was found to be far sicker and require more extensive, complex, and lifesaving surgery. It was of the utmost importance for both you and our medical team to fully understand her illness and diagnosis prior to proceeding with surgery. This is why certain diagnostics were repeated - to provide the fullest picture and understanding of what surgery was needed, the success and risks of that surgery, and ultimately financially what would be required to provide the best medical care.

At MissionVet, we strive to provide transparent and fair pricing for the high-quality care we offer. We are committed to ensuring that pet owners are fully informed about the costs associated with their pets' treatment, as well as options available to them. Should you wish to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out, and we will do our best to address your concerns by giving us a call at ************.

**PLEASE CHECK ****** REVIEWS FOR MY FULL REVIEW**if we could give **** stars, that would be the score. my stepfather (a military vet) took our beloved dog here after noticing her acting weird and feeling that she had an extremely racing heart rate. he explained her symptoms, noted that we live out in the country and she had just come inside before the tachycardia started - his concern was that she was bit by a snake or scorpion. staff said they checked her all over and did not notice any bites but because of her alarming heart rate, they immediately recommended EUTHANASIA. he had a sneaking suspicion it was a bite because heart problems do not occur out of nowhere and he felt like staff was being extremely dismissive and rude to him. they put her on an IV sedative to calm the heart rate, kept pushing to euthanize, OR pay $4-5k to admit her for overnight monitoring. because we have a vet who is a close family friend, he said no to euthanasia because we wanted a second opinion and would rather wait for someone who ACTUALLY CARED. staff made him sign a waiver that he was checking her out against medical advice, he knew they ***** do their all to actually assess and diagnose the condition. immediately upon leaving, HE FOUND SEVERAL WOUNDS THAT WERE OBVIOUSLY VENOMOUS BITES. we were astounded that they missed this and swore up and down that she had a heart condition and was going to die. he paid 500$ for the rudest treatment any of our fur babies had ever had and the disrespect they gave to a military vet who ***** want to jump to euthanasia is astounding. it seems like most reviews on this place show the same trend - uncaring, pushy and only for money. doctor ***** even view our dog and because of a unprofessional vet tech, they went straight to wanting to murder our dog. downright shameful. staff was rude when i called for a procedure explanation and refused to speak further when i pointed out they ***** follow their own steps to take actual care of a pet.

We are sorry for the loss of your beloved pet, Daisy. She presented to the Emergency *************** on or about April 22, 2022 for progressive Hyporexia (decreased appetite) for 3-4 days. She also had vomiting 24 hours prior. ********************* were performed on a routine basis. Radiographs and blood work were obtained. The doctor recommended IV fluids and pain medications as well as liver protective medications and antiemetics. ************ were indicative for hepatopathy and AKI. During the hospitalization, Daisys condition continued to decline and on or about April 24th, the doctor discussed with the owner treatment options which included continued hospitalization with IV antibiotics and a Nasogastric Tube or given the severity of condition to consider humane euthanasia. Ultimately humane euthanasia was elected by the owner due to the severity of her condition and poor prognosis.

Basically paid this vet ******** $ for nothing. Drove 8 hours from ******* because they stated they could do Conduct a procedure my dog needs, come to find out when we got here they cant do it yet they did other unnecessary testing to tell us what we already knew. Rip off, make sure they can do what you ask for before you hand over youre credit card. I could've used the time to go to a place with competent doctors. This is deceptive business practices. ************************************************ is negligent of first informing clients/patients of what their actual capabilities are until after running their charges up.
