    My transmission went out on my truck. I took it to Ammco. They quoted me a price and time frame. When it wasn't ready I complained and was told it would be ready by the end of the day. (Ammco had not even pulled the transmission yet). I told them I would be back the next day. When I picked up my truck they charged me more than the quoted price. I paid because I needed my truck. A couple days later I was driving to the deer lease and about 75- 100 miles from home my truck started smoking and transmission fluid was going everywhere. I had to pay est 600 to tow back to ammco. The manager was very rude and told me I should never have drove my truck that far ( but they fixed my transmission, so why can't I drive my truck). They repaied the truck. I went to pick it up and now the transmission over heats every day. I contacted ammco and the manager insisted nothing is wrong with my transmission. I have called customer service with no response and sent the owners a email with no response. I want either my money back so I can have it fixed correctly or I want then to fix it correctly. Plus I want the tow fee refunded to me.

    Drop my car off because the a/c stopped working. I told them I replaced the engine fan control module last time, then the a/c stopped working. I tried a few more modules and it did not help. I got a call from them and was told it was $741.22 to replace the radiator fan assembly. I declined the work and went to pick up my car and pay the $125 diagnostic fee. While I was there, I was notified the a/c belt was torn up. On the back of the quote, it says recommended a/c compressor belt, but it was not a part of the quote. I went home and checked way down to the a/c belt and it was completely gone. I bought a belt and replaced it that evening. The a/c works perfectly now. I called the next morning to tell them what I found and wanted to know why they quoted me $741.22 when all it was a $25 belt. The response I got was" so what are you trying to tell me, who knows how long the belt will last, so youre the mechanic you tell me the last thing he said set me off. Because of his ignorance it could have cost me $800 with the belt added in. This service advisor needs retraining and some customer service classes for sure. They could have just told me it was a belt and I would have had them replace it for what I assume would be $125, but at least I would not have had to do the work. Instead, I spent $125 + $25 and my own labor.
