My husband and I went to las Palapas here in San Antonio off of **** and ********. While we were eating, there was an altercation I was present for regarding a customer and an employee. I went to the restroom and overheard 2 female employees making fun of this one worker, who is Hispanic. They were discussing how the previous customer didn't want that Hispanic worker to help him with anything regarding his meal or check. The girls proceeded to say "well, he's Mexican, he should know his place." Another girl explained how the customer complained to her that they should know better than to let a filthy Mexican assist with a white person's order. One of the girls responded with saying, "how did all this begin anyway, did that mexican try to speak Spanish to a customer again" and then laughed at her own comment. I am disgusted at what I witnessed. Something needs to be done about this. The workers seemed as if they huddle in the restroom often just to make fun of the Hispanic worker. This needs to stop and something needs to be done about this disgusting behavior. *Regarding Las Palapas on *****************************************************************
