On July 15,2022 the plumber (***) from JC ******* and Sons plumbing came to my home to see what was causing a leak from coming up my floors (in the kitchen area). I had let him know that we did know there was a little leak from the outside faucet and asked him if that can be checked as well. He then claimed that he would not be able to fix the faucet because it wasnt up to code therefore he said he would have to reroute the entire pipeline. He claimed before opening up my walls that it should cost up to $8400 to repair it. He said it would cost less if he found the pipeline quickly. *** claimed the leak was then caused by the faucet from outside. However, the floors near that exact faucet were not wet at all. The floors that had water coming up came from the kitchen. He was still stuck to it coming from that faucet. That's why he had to do the rerouting. He then came up with a total of $11,875 for the entire process. He claimed we were killing daytime and they needed to get started on it immediately. This is after I claimed we didn't have that entire amount. We had to call everyone we knew to help us pay for this. He then stated to me, he knows how to word the documents so that the insurance pays for something, he's done it before. During the time of the plumbers working behind the stove and dishwasher, *** called me over to show me the dishwasher was throwing out a lot of water. I then told him, thats what was causing the leak! He claimed no it was the faucet from outside. What didn't add up to me is how come the floors near the faucet from outside weren't wet then?We went back and forth with ( Home warranty of America) denied our claim because they said **** Enriquez and son plumbing never sent them the diagnostics report. They claimed we were not supposed to pay anything out of pocket because they were supposed to get the diagnostics report and then tell us what was covered. The insurances claimed the invoice sent can not justify the price charged to us
