      Central Texas Plumbing Solutions was able to install a tankless hot water heater and run gas to a home my husband and I recently purchased. Their prices were fair and the quality of work was exceptional. We had a delay in getting the propane tank filled in a timely manner and their Gas Manager even came to our house and made sure we wouldn't run out of gas before we could get our tank fully filled.

      CT Plumbing came out to give me an estimate. 19 days later no estimate. I've had the work done already. Thing is the 2 men who came out just talked to me and then wrote down what I said. They never turned water on nor checked for a leak. They did flush toilet and saw water running at base of toilet. One of the men got out of the truck and put a snake in toilet but pulled it out right away and said it wasn't going to work. I read the invoice and was confused by what it said because it was simply not true. A mechanic did put in a new toilet but never touched anything else, never went under the house. They were here roughly ***** min. They took $140 and left saying I'll be getting an estimate soon. That estimate never came. I need that $140 back.

      I have followed up with our technicians who came to your house to better understand what happened. I want to start by acknowledging that you are correct in stating that you are still waiting on us to get an estimate for you regarding the re-piping of your house. Since we came out to perform the initial service call, we have had two major holidays and a freeze that left customers throughout our community without water; we have been fighting to restore running water to customers across the ************ area. We should have communicated with you to let you know we were triaging calls and were shifting our focus to ensuring people had running water instead of putting out new estimates. Besides this, we disagree completely with the way youve categorized the service call. You informed our plumbers that a mechanic had done the initial plumbing work and that you heard water running under the house. After showing our plumbers how to access underneath your house, we went under the house to diagnose what was going on and discovered that the house was incorrectly plumbed the mechanic inserted PVC into the existing cast iron without plumbing the house together. While we were underneath the house it was clear that water and excrement were just piling up beneath the toilet. You expressed frustration that we were unable to repipe your house that afternoon but that is a major job that we must estimate and schedule. Because we were unable to perform any work at the time of diagnosis, we did not charge for one of the plumbers on site. We went under your house to diagnose the issue and, upon realizing the scope, informed you that we would need to have an estimator come and make a proposal on the cost to do the required work.We absolutely should have contacted you to inform you that we would be unable to get our estimator to your house in a timely manner.

      The mechanic only put in new toilet. No other pipes was touched, mechanic was never under the house. And I was without a bathroom for 24 days however I am glad you got to the people who didn't have water for 1 or 2 days. Again, the service people wrote down what I told them. I paid $140 for something that I never received. I have never got a call nor email since I paid $140. Think about that for a minute.

      Adding to my earlier comment. My service call was at least 10 days before a freeze and 11 days before Christmas. So neither of these excuses could have slowed down an estimate or even a phone call.
