We were contacted by ******* of ArmStrong Quality Movers after placing info on ******** looking for a mover. He was told we had a 4 bedroom, 3 bath and 2 sheds to move. First incident that made me question them was the fact that they tried to come the weekend before scheduled. Second, when they showed up to move us we had the boxes packed and ready to go. The beds were still up due to them saying they we take them down and put them back up where they belonged. The movers called ******* and told him we had too much stuff. No more than was given to ******* for the quote. I was told they didn't bring a big enough truck. I feel that was not our problem and really was angry when they went to UHaul and charged us $5,000. We could have rented it ourselves for far less! They broke many things, many things were missing and did not show up. We had them store our furniture and belongings for 3 months. With the first being free as they stated. However, we were charged admin fees of $100 a month that was never told to us. ******* made us feel that we were dirt under his feet and made us pay the balance by bank check before we would get the rest of our belongings. I filed my complaint before the time limit that was given to me. I heard nothing, not one word from them. I sent my complaint by registered mail, email and regular mail, so I know that complaint was received. Our first quote was $3300. We paid them $17,495.00 at the end. I was told our belongings were stored in a climate controlled area. With our belongings being delivered, we were blessed with rats. When this was brought up they said no way, even though the rat evidence was on the totes as they brought them in. In our new home they scratched up doors and floors. I can't believe this experience is the way A+ movers act and treat their clients, because this cannot be the right way to be treated especially when it took all of our retirement money and savings.
