We purchased a new home in May of 2022 and the end of the 1 year warranty is fast approaching. We purchased a new home instead of an older one thinking we would not have so many problems that would need our attention. As of this date there are quite a few items that still need attention.A kitchen cabinet door that was loose has fallen off.Shower in master bath has finish coming off the fixtures.Caulking at sink in master bath is separating from the counter.Posts for the Toilet tissue holder in master bath are mounted too far apart and the rolls of paper fall to the floor.The chain on the arm in the tank of the commode keeps slipping off and it is repaired with a wire or a paper clip. I don't know which it is.The water only gets warm not hot in the master shower. Very hot water every other faucet in the house. Have to run water for a long time even though hot water heater is next to that bath.Caulking needed at tub in hall bath and around some windows and at back garage door.The problem of falling doorknobs was finally fixed by my 89 year old husband. All doorknobs were loose and two not functioning correctly still need fixing.The floor in the living room area is popping up and some warping.Paint splatters still around.Someone did come and caulk around the two toilets and clean off the outside faucet so we could attach a hose. We need to check this.A person came with a roller to level the back yard. It is better.The gate on the fence locks on the outside instead of the inside where it would be more secure.
