    On July 5,2020, we purchased an ***************** 4 ton ac/heat pump unit for $16,443. The unit was installed about 10 days later. There were problems installing the unit. Over next two years, we kept the service maintenance membership and had to call several times for issues. A major issue was water damage from a cracked pan in summer of 2021. They did not pay for the cost of Sheetrock repair. Nor did they replace the cracked pan.Recent issue: On Nov 12, 2022 we wake up with no heat. It is a Saturday and they sent a repair guy from ******* who charged ** $159.95 for diagnostic charge. No heat caused by low pressure.We also paid $276 for maintenance membership on that day.Nov 14- Technician comes and orders parts we need and will get on their schedule.Nov 28-I called because I have not heard from them, but left a message bc no one answered.Nov 29- called RM Mullinix back bc they never returned my call. I was informed that the part will take 4-6 weeks. I asked about using emergency heat since I had guests coming. I was told a technician would call next morning.I never received a call.Jan 2-called at 2:10 pm. Answering service took my call bc they were closed.Jan 3- called back at 1:30 pm. They are waiting on a sensor. Should get a call by Jan 5 Jan 5- I called at 3:00 pm bc they never called me. Schedule me for Jan 10th in morning. Job will take 4-5 hours.Jan 10- no repair men show up. I called Mullinix to ask why, only to find out they rescheduled me WITHOUT letting me know RM Mullinix has yet to repair the unit. I receive no calls from them for service, even though we paid for the service maintenance membership. How can this be resolved?

    For a bussiness that's been here quite a very long time,you would think they wouldn't try to take advantage of a long time 5 yr customer that purchased an over priced unit and pays yrly for a maintenance contract but yet when they come out to the house,on July 31st,2023 and did the summer maintenance check and said everything was working fine but I had to call them out today,august 22 for an issue with ac cutting off & on every 5 minutes, so the tech said we will have to charge me the diagnostic fee,when the receptionist told me there wouldn't be a fee for that,he told me the drain line was clogged so when it came time to pay,I see on my invoice they charged me the diagnostic fee ,trip charge $20.00 and total cost out the door was $299.95.I do not know where he came up with this figure but I feel like they took advantage of me and over charged me,I feel that they are going to owe me a refund,this was dishonest and as much as I and everyone else pay to have a warranty, not everything is covered so I feel that they should do better,be honest and stop trying to over charge customers and work with people that are on a fixed income.

    The Diagnostic fee will apply after hours (after 5pm) Monday Friday and on the weekends. All phone calls are recorded, which the Receptionist told you there wouldnt be a fee when you originally booked the call for Wednesday at 8am only the fuel charge of $20. You called back shortly after your first call and wanted service Tuesday night. The receptionist did tell you since it will be after hours the fee will be $159.95.  That price is for the after-hour diagnostic $139.95 and the fuel charge of $20. Our HVAC members get an discounted diagnostic charge ($139.95) instead of our regular nonmember price of $179.95 plus the $20 fuel charge. Our tech did perform services that evening.
