Cedar Park Regional Medical Center billed me incorrectly and refused to rebuild correctly to include my second insurance carrier. Me and my insurance company attempted working it out with them many times, but their billing department was unwilling to work with us. Then they sued me for the less than $2000 owed. It has been a nightmare of years dealing with them. I would recommend driving to the next hospital if you want to avoid a financial headache.

This hospital needs to do better at responding to patients needs!! I have been inpatient for 2 days now, and when I have pushed the nurses call light for help, the fastest time to respond has been 10 minutes. I was DX with colitis and have been in severe pain. One instance, I was over-due for pain medication so pushed the call light. I tell them what I needed and was toldyour nurse will be right there. 45 minutes later I get my meds. But, they want patients to lay in agony? I have pressed the call button for small things cause I needed help. At least 30 minutes pass. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. I had a procedure done and the nurse in recovery told me that I will require assistance the first time I walk to the bathroom. Well, 5:30pm I call for help telling them I really need to use the restroom. I waited 30 minutes and finally walked by myself! What would have happened if I had fallen?? I also just had my dinner brought to me and still no one has showed upit is now 5:45I am doing everything myself. So, I have spilt water, there is popsicle on the floor. I am getting no assistance at all. I am just not going to press. The nurses call light button anymore during my stay. I really hope that all of the staff improve this for future patients. I am very disappointed in dissatisfied in my stay and should have gone to another hospital. To lay in bed in agony with pain being unbearable and to not get my pain meds on time and for them to be delayed is just wrong. # ****
