On November 9, 2023 I purchased a 2006 *** X3 (*****************) On December 13, 2023 My husband and I sought out a friend ************************* to do some repairs on this vehicle, because ************************* has expertise in repairing these types of cars. **** is a contract (****) to *************** ******************** (******************** Construction Co) On December 13th 2023 we DROVE the 2006 *** X3 to ******************** Construction where ************************* agreed to work on car in spare time. After Days and weeks on zero communication we asked Mr ******************** to tell ******************* to contact us. Mr ******************** at this point became actively involved with details about the car which is not his profession. We took it to **** because he has the expertise in this particular model, in fact he has owned one in the past. And could save us a lot of money. On many occasions we would text (I have all text messages) to get the status on car. The first quote was at 800$ buying parts from Junk Yards, (complete details and two different invoices, One from Mr ************************* for a total of $2280.00 and one from *************** ******************** (Construction ********************) for a total $5314.06, We did not hire ******************** Construction to preform any work to the stated vehicle. Mr ******************** is holding our 2006 *** X3 and has refused to give it back. Last known status was vehicle was apart locked in his shop with intake manifold apart. We would like our vehicle brought back to us in the same shape (drive order) as we drove to *************************. I Have sent a demand letter by Fed X that expired 1-31-2024, In the last week I have filed a small Claims court case with Tarrent County District 4 Thank you for your Time *********************************
