eMDs Solution series has been my electronic Medical records(EMR) company for over ******************************************************************** pricing, I was forced to look for other options. I did find an excellent EMR and gave eMDs the ample and allotted time of 90 days of termination. eMDs corporate sent me notification that I could not be released out of my contract due to it being on auto renewal. I was never notified, nor did I ever agree to or sign such a contract. They informed me that I needed to pay out $80,000.00 to be released from the contract. I had already started the process of transition to my new software company -eClinical Works(eCWs).My attorney asked them to produce the original contract(which they have yet to provide), and instead they produced a fraudulent signature from a former employee indicating that I had received notice of this new contract. I contacted my former employee and she verified that that was not her signature and that they even misspelled her name. My small business has been impacted financially due to not being able to bill patient visits due to eMDs not integrating billing services with eCWs. eMDs RCM (billing services) is another contract of eMDs that I inncorporated on3/2/21, and this contract is on auto renew and I also have given them a 90 day notice, however, this contract will not expire until October 2023. Since I do not want to pay out this contract, I have agreed to finish it out, but they must integrate with eCWs. The eMDs RCM team did inform me that corporate had told them not to speak or communicate with me nor any of my staff. I had to incur additional costs to hire an outside billing company ,clearing house and other costs to start billing for services rendered in order to meet filling deadlines. I have amicably tried to communicate directly with eMDs via emails, certified mail and phone calls with messages much to no avail. I had no choice but to hire an attorney in order to communicate with eMDs.
