Hello **** *** way youre Pirates Cove and your go car washes do business, well we feel that you could have done much better ( my husband says ) as far as my opinion , ( my husbands wife) and theres a lot of things you couldve done different, and its not too late! Im not gonna tell you what they are because those are our ideas and if you want our ideas it needs to be done in a legitimate way. Also, advice from my husband and I is valuable ! Please dont underestimate us just because we dont own a car wash! Take a chance on us! Big thank you!

On October 2nd 2020, I took my **** Mustang (only ****** original miles) to the ****** location. I paid for the top wash and was guided into the tunnel by the attendant. Upon exiting, I went to the vacuums and noticed that although included in the wash I purchased, the tires had not been cleaned. I approached who I later found out was the location manager and he said, "no problem, we'll just send you back through again."I entered the tunnel a second time and at the end of the wash, just before exiting, I heard a loud crunch. When I exited the wash, I got out of my car and saw that the driver side rocker panel cover was missing, and saw that it was caught in the track of the wash. The manager had been standing at the area just before the exit and witnessed the entire event. I asked him to back the track up and was told they couldn't. He said he would call the district manager and figure out what to do. He called him, and then told me it would take about an hour for him to get to the location. I told the manager I was going to go get something to drink and come back and wait for the DM. I left, was gone for no more than 15 minutes, and when I returned, the DM was already there, and they had cut the rocker panel cover into pieces. They went to the "we have cameras in the tunnel" and found the video of the damage being done. I had them email it to me. It clearly showed their machinery ripping off the cover.The DM told me to go to a body shop that was close by and get an estimate to fix the car. I did so, and when I returned with the estimate, which I assume was much more than the DM had anticipated, the DM said "We're not going to pay that. If you want us to fix it, you'll just have to ***!" I did just that. Due to Covid, we weren't able to have the case heard until July 2021. We showed up for court, the docket was called and our case was heard. The owner of Pirates Cove failed to show, and we were given a default judgment.The next day, I received and email saying there was a clerical error at the court, that the owner had requested and received a reset because he would be out of town, so that judgement was vacated. A new date was set in August.Again, we showed at court on the appointed date, and our case was once again heard by the judge. Once again, the owner failed to show.The judge again awarded me a default judgement, and this time the judge gave me not only the total amount for the damages, court costs and attorney costs, but also added "the highest amount of interest allowed by the law". He was none to happy that ***************************, the owner, failed to show after being given the continuance.I have yet to see a *****, but I am assured by my attorney that he will be able to collect. Bottom line; This is a disreputable business. They ***** their responsibilities and, in my case, failed to even show up for court. ******** is trying to "work the system" avoiding to pay for the damages his car wash caused.Side note, shortly after we filed the lawsuit, ******** and company sold that location to GoCarWash.
