    Complaint is for Salon Palomo's beautician threatening my daughter and friend to a fight and manager being very unprofessional. On April 28, 2021, I dropped my daughter off at Salon Palomo at 330pm to have her hair dyed half black/half red, which required bleaching on her left half of her head. The beautician was still doing the bleaching process when I arrived at 630 pm. I asked if she was still bleaching my daughter's hair this whole time and beautician replied that she was trying to even it out. My daughter mentioned to her that her head was burning. Beautician rinsed bleach out of hair and put dye on it. My daughter said it was really burning. My daughter also pulled out several long strands of hair. I was sitting 2 seats away from my daughter at the time and watching. Beautician said that burning was normal due to the bleach and recommended doing hair treatment because daughter's hair was now brittle. Coloring was very uneven when beautician was done at 930 pm. I paid $290 plus $20 tip. Daughter ended up with several blisters on her scalp. I took photos of them. I called manager of Salon Palomo on May 4th (they're closed on May 2nd, 3rd) and she said its normal to have burning when bleaching hair, and I replied that the bleach was in daughter's hair for a minimum of 2hrs and that the beautician should know when to take bleach out before damaging hair and injuring scalp. Manager said to bring daughter in. We went there at approximately 1230 pm. Manager looked at hair and said it looked fine and didn't see any sores, which I could still feel scabs. I told her I took pics and that it's not normal to have blisters and that bleach was in daughters hair much longer than it should have been. (The recommended is 45min-1hr). This conversation went back and forth several times with her claiming it was normal. I asked for a refund. Manager agreed to refund half, but continued to claim daughter's hair/scalp were fine. Daughter started to cry and also repeated that the bleach was in her hair for approx. 2hrs if not longer. Daughter's friend also was there as a witness and there were 2 other clients and 2 other employees plus the beautician. The beautician came over and yelled at all of us claiming we were lying. I told her we had pics of the sores. Daughter said to manager to check their cameras. BEAUTICIAN THEN THREATENED MY DAUGTHER AND HER FRIEND TO A FIGHT. I said that was so very unprofessional and I then told Manager how unprofessionally she was handling this entire situation. Manager wrote me a check for half of the refund ($150) and we left.
