First and foremost I have paid a total of $38,000 dollars to this shop and am distrusted the even the sight of my motor each time I pull the hood on my semi. Around May or June of last year I began having issues with with the engine on my semi and seemed out for a shop that could help me address the issues. I have known and dealt with **** Storbecks Garage on many occassions in the past and for some reason this experience has been rather unpleasant and unfortunate. I first took the truck in after having some routine mantainance performed on it to have them find that a few injectors needed to be replaced and they had to remove the cylinder head to replace a bent valve. $6000 dollars later I picked up my truck and drove it home. The following morning while preparing to get on the road I cranked the truck to let it warm up and only minutes later the truck began with racket and a combination of white, ***** and black smoke out of the exhaust and oil and water leaking from several orifices around the engine. I called the shop to let them know what was going on and they arranged to send a wrecker to pick it up and get it back into the shop. After checking it out I received a call from them stating that an exhaust valve had come loose inside the engine and TOTALLY destroyed my engine and that the cylinder head would again have to be removed and the complete engine rebuilt. I was charged an additional $31 000 dollars for head replacement, air compressor rebuild, and turbo replacement, and transmission inspection. This work came with a one year warranty. Only two short weeks after I picked the truck up I began seeing oil leaks from both sides of the engine where the head sits on the engine block and mainly towards the front of the engine. One month later my turbo failed on the roadside and costs me an additional $5000. The shop will not acknowledge my warranty and make good on any of the oil leaks or the new turbo that failed. I have tried contacting them several times.
