I rated this dealership 1 STAR and that's because of the nonsense and BS that I'm currently going through with them. We had a 2009 **** Escape (white) that was financed with "Manny G Motors" and we needed to have full coverage w/GAP because it was "mandatory" they said and it was only a few dollars, that turned out to be like an extra $400. But we still trusted them and went along with it. At that point, when another contract was drawn up, that was a red flag right there and I say that because we had already signed a contract and even agreed to numbers already.Now by this time our claims adjuster called us and explained that we would be receiving 1 of the following amounts give or take....her words exactly was that " if you keep the vehicle (because the insurance (Infinity or ****** maybe both names I'm not sure), there will be a check issued in the amount of $5,697 or if we decided to NOT keep the Escape the insurance would issue something like $6,000 or $7,000. Now at this point my fianc and I were relieved. We actually felt like things might be starting to go good for us and we would be able to get our vehicle back OR the dealership would help us get another vehicle and NEITHER happened. ********* the insurance REP stated that we agreed to "keep the vehicle, it was deemed a total loss and that the check for the $5,697 was sent to the dealership". My fianc and I NEVER agreed to a specific dollar amount and the dealership said we were going to keep the vehicle and that we were taking the $5,697 amount when we DID NOT AGREE TO EITHER. Please keep in mind, I went to the dealership, spoke to "*****", I asked for our vehicle since we agreed to "keep it" so we can drive our car that's technically been paid for; however, she said OUR car could've been used for parts or taken to a junk yard!!!! Now ****** was calling her on the phone while he's sitting on the other side of the wall hearing our conversation the entire time. SERIOUSLY...????Manny G Motors LLC Response

******************** and ************** came in to purchase a 09 **** Escape on 02/10/22 the only program they Qualified for was in House Financing. The down payment was agreed on. At the time they did not have the full amount so only a portion of the Down Payment was made and the difference was deferred and to be payed by 03/09/22. In addition to not paying the Deferment ******************** never made her car payments. We called ******************** several times attempting to collect what she owed and to let her know that her vehicle was up for repossession due to non payment and had no success. Then in April, she called about her Car Catching fire, a claim was made. We took over the insurance claim with an affidavit of repossession on 04/26/22. Manny G Motors had every legal right to do so, because of the breach of contract due to non payment. We never received any payment from the customer for the past due amount prior to the day it was deemed a total loss and CK was issued on 05/12/2022. We have since gotten a check from the insurance company that does not cover the total of the loan for this Vehicle and the Gap Claim was denied on 05/25/22. Manny G Motors has not done any wrong doing. We will continue to communicate with the customer as to what is still owed on the loan as soon as the file is complete. I like how you don't acknowledge that a check for five thousand, nearly six thousand dollars was recently received by the insurance company. With that check alone we are caught up with the payment(s) and some. You didn't even acknowledge that we never agreed to "keep" the vehicle, that was the dealerships response to the insurance company not ours. Hence, I'm asking for our vehicle and you all supposedly don't know where it is? Well since it's PAID UP TO DATE, we should have our vehicle and we should have it now. So where is it? And do you see how professional your company is, that this is how I find out that the *** coverage is "denied"? Wow.... this doesn't surprise me what so ever. I need to know where our car is and we should've received it the day you received your check. Why did you never call us to advise? ******* ******* *****.... nobody has attempted to call, no one. I'm really disappointed with this company. Are you going to fix this HUGE problem? And why was the *** coverage suddenly declined after you get a comaint from the BBB?!? In addition, you know what's funny...is that you all never told us you were repossessing the car. ****** said you were picking it up because it was deemed a total loss. All these promises from your company were empty. I feel like you all just said whatever came to mind just to get the sale. When I went into your office, I couldn't even find a salesman, I really want to know when is this going to get fixed?!? I left the previous comment 3 weeks ago and this is real shocker, NO RESPONSE at all, none. There has been not one document received from your office regarding the 09 **** Escape. UNBELIEVABLE. So is there anything that your company has to say regarding this situation, because all weve gotten is silence. This just shows how well your company responds and how much you really dont care to fix or even help to resolve.Review from Rebecca G
