I unfortunately had to go to Toyota to get my car fixed because no one in the area was able fix my car. It went from a $1100 to fix my car to $3,000 to fix the car in an hour. I felt immediately like I was being overcharged and played with. I decided this morning that I wanted to get a second opinion on my car and they told me they can't release the car until I pay $1,200 for a part that is a "special order." At first they told me the part would be in the first weekend of November, then I was told it was on back order and won't be shipped until Nov. 13, and now it magically got shipped within the hour and can't be returned. I'm confused on why a Toyota part can't be returned back to a Toyota warehouse.I called back an hour later to figure out how to get around this and they told me again that I would need to pay $1,200 then he agreed to have me pay a restocking fee WHICH I NEVER AGREED TO NOR KNEW ABOUT. I never signed any paperwork about service, additional charges, etc. I also never received evidence of the $500 diagnostic test, invoice for parts, or breakdown of payment. I think they know they made mistakes and are still trying to get money out of it. I'm at this point now where my car still isn't fixed, parts haven't been delivered and they still want me to pay at minimum $1,500 to be able to drive my car again. I have been a Toyota customer for a few years now and this whole situation has made me decide to get a whole new car from a different dealership because of the poor customers service and lack of respect.
