We have received two letters requesting payment for a delinquent toll from this firm. We were not in ************* at the time the vehicle went through the toll (5/29/23). Additionally, the ************ license plate indicated on their correspondence was a plate we had at one time but no longer have. We moved to ************** in April of 2021 and registered our car here. We asked what vehicle is on record as having gone through the toll and they do not have that information (during both phone calls). We told them back in February it was not us and again in April when we received the second letter. They need to obtain the type of car it was and proof that that vehicle was in fact registered to us. They have not done that. They are sending letters out and hoping that they found the correct person not proving it is the correct person. Or hoping people pay because they get sick and tired of being harassed. We shouldnt have to do their work for them and prove that they have the incorrect license plate.My guess is this firm doesnt have the photo because its probably not clear what the plate is and they dont want us to see that. We would like them to stop contacting us and to close this file. We are not paying for something we dont owe. We can see numerous other complaints against this firm for the same thing. Something should be done to keep them from doing this.
