I've had many problems with these apartments since my move-in and with every incident, the manager explained to me that the power to help alleviate the stressful conditions of what should be my comforting home has to deal with the owner. I am writing this with hopes the owner will recognize his neglectfulness with the Hill Country Villas property and probably many others! First things first, the complex is falsely advertised with edited photos of the property to look neater, was told a 24-hour fitness room that only opens when the office is open. Second, property is a gated community but front gate NEVER worked from when I signed my lease (July 2021) to now. Because of this my vehicle has been broken into AS WELL AS my wheels and tires stolen on two separate occasions. The complex had no cameras, offered no type of compensation other than relocating my paid for parking spot, and worst of all, the gates have yet to be fixed so it continues to stay open 24/7. My last straw was when my apartment was infested with bed bugs. Although the seriousness of bed bugs in homes are severe and cause for a full inspection and treatment, the apartment manager had asked me to get rid of ALL fabric belongings of mine. I understand the sense of urgency, but really? Dispose of over half of my belongings? The worst part is, in order for me to request their assistance in exterminating the bed bugs, I would have to pay a small cut of the total extermination bill for my WHOLE building. A building with 10 tenants, counting me. I am a young adult, in my first apartment... do I look like I am made of money?! Due to the whole bed bug incident they offered me to either move apartments of break my lease without going on record. Obviously, for my safety and sanity, I chose the latter. The complex goes under meaningless construction instead of focusing on water leaks, sketchy stairways, and the safety of their community like a WORKING front gate. To the owner of this property, please do better.

I have lived in these apartments for over 11 years, in the same apartment. For the first 9, i didnt have any issues. In October 2020, i went to the front office to talk to management about having work done. I was informed they would take care of me due to my time living here. They said they would clean my carpet, paint, replace old appliances, and provide upgrades in lighting and fans. I didnt hear anything from them for the next 3 or 4 months. In February 2021, i contacted them about these things and about renewing my lease. Again they promised to get it done. I signed my new lease. In March 2021, they called to tell me that they would be in my apartment in the next two days to paint, did not happen. They then contacted my in ealy April 2021 to inform they will be installing a new dishwasher in the next 2 days, didnt happen. In mid April 2021, they inspected my apartment and i asked about all this and was again inform they would be doing it in 2 days. As of mid April 2021, i havent heard anything. I would not ask anyone to move in this place anymore. Stay away, far away
