Took cat to Alamo, had used for 20+years. Vet said his teeth were bad an had to be removed. 2nd visit, cats in pain, not eating. 3rd visit while waiting for surgery. Vet ********************* says he's dehydrated and probably nauseated. Total for 3 visits, tests $600+. 3 days after visit with ****** went for 2nd opinion. Cats teeth needed cleaning, but not bad. Cat was dying, dehydrated, low oxygen. 2nd vet asked Alamo for records an was told they didn't have fax or email. My cat had a tumor or cancer and had to be euthanized. Alamo kept leading me on saying he needed multiple teeth extractions.

2nd review and update for initial post: The first review was prompted by a highly unfavorable encounter with their team, who abruptly canceled my plans less than 24 hours before my scheduled trip. Despite my hiatus of over a year from their services, I decided to extend a second opportunity, hoping to witness improvements in their scheduling and customer service practices. I proactively visited their physical location three weeks prior to the intended date, aiming to preempt any scheduling ambiguities. Regrettably, despite my efforts, I received confirmation for my upcoming trip, only to face another untimely cancellation. Shockingly, this second cancellation occurred a week before my trip, and they admitted that the cancellation was because of their displeasure with my prior review, which was an accurate reflection of their previous last-minute cancellation. The question that remains is how such behavior can be deemed justifiable or even remotely indicative of acceptable customer service. In most scenarios, a business would strive to rectify past missteps, but regrettably, their actions appear more geared towards penalizing me for their own poor customer service and lack of organizational coherence. At this point, I am disinclined to bring my dogs to their establishment. If this is the manner in which they treat a loyal customer, one can only wonder about the level of care they would provide to my dogs. .
