    On May 20, ****, ****** from Efficient ** visited our house to perform seasonal ** inspections on our two units.****** falsified inspection reports for my units and recommended unnecessary maintenance (replacement of an outdoor unit's motor).I've left 3 messages for the service supervisor ***** and have not heard back in over a week.Here are the details:****** arrived and spent less than 4 minutes inspecting the indoor portions of the units. He had me leave the units off for the inspection. This seemed odd but I didn't think much of it.On seeing my outdoor units, ****** recommended considering replacement of one motor because of exterior rust for $761. He seemed knowledgeable so I agreed and scheduled the repair for the next week.Later that day, I looked at my report documents. They included current draw and temperature differential info for the indoor units. This didn't make sense. I have nest footage of time in the attic and ****** asking me to keep the units off. So he just made up these numbers.This caused me to wonder about the motor replacement recommendation.I called *****, the ** service manager, about this and the indoor report numbers. He said rust was alone was not a good reason to replace, and that current draw being above spec would be a good reason. I looked at my report and saw ****** reported 1.8A when 1.1A was the *** expected. Based on this, it seemed like a replacement was warranted.But knowing the indoor numbers on the report were fake, I wanted to confirm the 1.8A number. I purchased a clamp multimeter and measured current draw repeatedly while the motor ran, always getting 0.9A. I contacted an experienced ** tech online to confirm I had measured properly.I called *****, cancelled the motor replacement, left polite messages about what I found, and asked for a refund of ****** for my yearly contract for the inspections. There has been no response.This behavior is not acceptable. How many other customers has this happened to?

    BAD FAITH EFFORT! We agreed to a $99 charge to come out that would be applied to repair. However, the ** tech said the only thing to do was replace the whole ** unit (which was obviously working, but not evenly throughout the house). A few days later we got another ** service that fixed the problem for little more than the $99 Efficient service charge. (In effect, they charged us to make a sales call). We called the company to complain about the charge as there was NO GOOD FAITH EFFORT TO DO A REPAIR. No one called back, but an invoice came. Long story short: we have made several calls, sent a detailed written message online which was also sent as a hard copy letter personally addressed to the principals of the company. No one has ever responded to any of our complaints.While the inability and unwillingness to repair the problem may have been an incompetent tech, the unwillingness to respond to our many attempts to resolve this issue fairly indicates a much worse business ethic.
