I was done wrong from beginning to end with this 2 man operation, one owner company who could not admit or take responsibility for a bad install, or compromise to fix the problems.; so much for this company holding to their word advertising on the BBB that they "guarantee you professional quality and dependable services because you deserve nothing less." Trust me. Go instead with a well heard of, reputable company even if it is more money because this company did such a bad install that it cost me more than double to fix their mess. They had me convinced they were experienced, to leave it up to them, and that they knew just what to do to get me fixed up with a great inside AC unit. They made it seem so simple. I was fooled by their reviews because I found out later that they are old reviews that talk good of employees that no longer work there, that is after ownership changed due to unfortunate circumstances. Using old reviews that no longer apply is deception, since it is not the same people working there. They do it to make the company look better and have a collection of reviews. This company cut corners in so many areas, including installing without a permit prior to beginning the installment, with no regard of the future negative outcomes stemming from their poor installment and improper connections. In addition, safety precautions were bypassed including to prevent flooding. Leaks began, and mold grew due to the poor sealing of the unit. They were careless in their work and cleaning up. I still have duct sealant on my prior freshly painted walls and door base threshold. They are not there to recommend upgrades of any kind or discuss differences between upgrades. They are not there to tell you if you have issues that need to be replaced. They are not there to make sure your AC is set up and hooked appropriately to connections or installed correctly to proper size. They are not there to question anything they see previously done wrong or that needs adjustments in order for your new unit to properly run at its most energy-efficient means. Where do care, responsibility, and informing the consumer come into play with this company? What they care about is getting out of there as quick as they can to make a buck and get the install in as quick as they can and bypass any discussions that any other prudent professional HVAC company would not hesitate to discuss whether that be the type of speeds of AC units, best quiet ones, best energy-efficient ones, any existing problems that need to be upgraded or repaired prior to installment, etc. Instead they disclose nothing to the customer that would make more work for them to do. They just make do with what exists to work with. They offer the least information on their own that they can. You are a number, not a customer. They simply give you a brand name and a price and give you the impression they are going to install a great AC. They will install the cheapest, loudest, bottom of the line they can in order to make a profit. They agree to anything you want even if it's the wrong suggestion or choice. They are not there to offer their professional educational input. In the end, I was left with a sloppy installment, open wires, improper connections to ducts connected in the most wrong way, causing the AC to operate very inefficiently, start of leaks, and mold growth all in a very short period of time. This was all verified. I find it hard to believe they are actually licensed. Do not choose this company if you do not want a company that just "makes do" in every sense of the word. As long as they can say it's a running AC, then they feel they've done their job and earned their pay even if it's at the customer's expense to suffer mentally, financially, healthwise, and less comfortable, temperature-wise, down the road.
