      To start off with, I don't think the customer service or the selection deserves the one star. Everyone there was reliable and super helpful. The one star review is for two major things, one being a little more serious than the other. First off, I ordered a sectional from this store in person and was told, "I've only ever seen this company take up to 3 months to deliver something" and put 500 dollars down. Okay cool, I wait a couple weeks for a phone call because I was told I would be contacted, never got one so I called because I was never told the order was actually processed. I call one day and got told I can see Jake placed the order, but no estimated delivery date, but atleast it is ordered right? A month and a half from the original order date and nothing from them. No phone calls, texts, mail or update of any kind. I call again, followed by, "So far the estimated delivery date is August 28th." No. That's not what was discussed so I cancel the order. I go in to talk to Jake to cancel the order and get told, "Okay are you sure you wanna cancel your order? Because of the restocking fee? Well lemme check something first", checks his computer for a minute, "Well if this person gets their furniture soon and then this person gets it you'll get it by May 12th(? I don't really remember the date to be honest but that's not my point)" Weird how when someone wants to cancel your order you want to start talking about how soon they can get it right? So I tell him I want to go ahead and cancel because I got other furniture on the way already and have been given a delivery date and talked to by several people. Jake then tells me, "I have cancelled the order, I'll call my sales rep and see what you can get back from your deposit and I will cut you a check in the mail, sorry for the inconvenience." Weeks go by, no check, no phone call again. Call again and get told, "The 25% restock fee was 500 dollars so your 500 dollar deposit is gone, there's nothing to give you." But what was restocked? I understand manufacturers have their own problems now due to Covid-19, but the 25% restock fee was not explained as 25% of the total sale and the whole experience was very underwhelming with the lack of communication. I'm upset, yes, but I am absolutely floored by the fact I'm getting charged a full 25% restocking fee for something that never left the factory. It wasn't expected to be delivered until the end of August so what was their to be restocked? I'm very sorry to anyone else that has had a similar experience, but maybe this will save someone in the future.

      The customer purchased on 3/6/21 & the items were put on order the same day. The manufacturer allocates materials at the time orders are placed. Mr **** came in 4/5/21 & stated he wanted to cancel the order. The cancellation policy prints on EVERY invoice & is posted on a lg board in everyones view where invoices are typed up, stating 25% restock fee is charged if order is cancelled. The owner explained the 25% restock fee & offered to let him reselect or use it as an ISC to avoid having to pay that. Mr **** adamantly refused stating he had found furniture elsewhere. The owner stated if there was anything left from the downpayment after the restock fee he would mail a check to Mr. Wise. The restock fee the customer actually paid was 21% & not the 25% stated in the cancellation policy. In subsequent conversations regarding this matter the owner has continued to offer to work with Mr. ****.

      The return policy was NOT explained. You stated you needed a "deposit" of at LEAST 10 dollars to go through with the transaction where I then gave Jake, the owner, at least 500 dollars since a large fraction of it would be covered at that point. The return policy, which states a 25% restocking fee will be fined if order is cancelled was posted as the owner states, BUT a restocking fee is not the same as, in my eyes, a cancelation fee. The cancelation occurred because the business failed to maintain a quality communication line between the customer and manufacturer which as you state you were in contact with the day of.
