    “You are not a customer we want” is the comment left twice on their public ******** page in response to the review I left regarding an unsatisfactory installation. Once they collected and kept my money, I became a customer! Albeit a former customer, I wasn’t told they didn’t want the job or my money when I first entered their establishment looking for two rooms of carpet. Only after the need to redo one of those rooms that they poorly cut and glued down (photos available) did our relationship suffer. When a hideous seam was installed across the middle of the second room, I questioned the installer. He informed me that due to the piece being tightly rolled, the fibers were crushed. But, with vacuuming, the fibers would lift and the seam would be less noticeable. Yes, now a year has passed. A year that my adult son and his fiancé occupied my house while expecting a child and house hunting during the pandemic. They closed on their first home in May of this year and the baby is a healthy, happy little boy. Upon their moving, I discovered that the hideous seam was as obvious as it was the day it was installed. I took pictures (also available) and visited the staff of Tazewell Floor Covering. They looked at my pictures and told me that there was nothing they could do. “It’s the lighting in the room”, they said. Angered by their complete lack of concern toward my complaint, I said, “I guess I will close the drapes.” And I exited the store. I stewed a couple of weeks and decided to post a review on their public ******** page. Two weeks later, on a Sunday morning, they replied. “It’s easy to understand how a carpet seam could slightly show after a year of rental property use. It isa seam! Tell the whole story!” And, I did. I posted a lengthy response to their ridiculous comment. Their reply, “You are not a customer we want!” Evidently my money isn’t important. My patronage isn’t important. My recommendation isn’t important. For a second time they commented, “Again, you are not a customer we want. I will not allow you to badmouth us without setting the record straight!” This is my attempt to set the record straight as they’ve requested

    After doing this for 45 years I just don't like my character attacked by people that don't know me. This person made it her mission to slander my business to all of her freinds. I have stood behind my lesser situations but when you come in to my store and have a bad attitude and rude behavior I wont tolerate it. I made a mistake in responding to her accusations and I will be shutting down my ******** page.

    Now I stand accused of making it my mission to slander this company to all of my friends. What? I shared statements made publicly to me and about me on social media. I am still flabbergasted by the “light in my room” If you make a rude public statement about a customer, one you stated you don’t want after already taking their money and offer nothing with respect to the original complaint, I have every right to share my experience. In fact, I was told to “tell the whole story”. If the truth hurts you should have never asked that I tell it. If not the truth, why did you remove my story? Why remove your hateful comments? Why haven’t you called me? Why haven’t you offered to come and personally inspect my carpet? I’m not a customer you want! I’m just a customer who expects to get what she paid for just like every customer. I don’t think that’s asking too much
