The Federal Trade Commission's (FTC's) Cooling-Off Rule applies to sales at the buyer's home. Under the Cooling-Off Rule, the consumer has a right to cancel for a full refund until midnight of the third business day after the sale. (Visit www.ftc.gov for complete information.) Cancellation must be done by mail, making sure the envelope is post-marked before midnight of the third business day after the contract date. (Saturday is considered a business day; Sundays and federal holidays are not.)

    If you sign a financing agreement it will have a separate three day cancellation period. Therefore, if you cancel the financing, but not the purchase of the system, you still may be obligated to purchase the system.

      I've had an on-going issue with my air purification system that lasted well over a month. Initially FEWA came out to look at the issue and they described the issue as having "never encountering this before." A call was a made to the supervisor who had them go through some tests before reaching a conclusion that the system needed a new power cord and possibly a fuse. They ordered the parts and scheduled to come out almost 2 weeks later. The driver ***** never called to give me a time frame (I just took off work all day) - I had to call them after their deadline of 10:30 a.m. and he called me back and scheduled my window between 4-6 p.m. that day. At 6:15 that day I called because the worker never showed up or called. I was informed they could do nothing at that time by ****** when I called. The driver showed up almost 45 minutes late and then looked at system and the parts they had and determined that they would have to convert and change the *** installation and run wires all over - to which I told them that was not what was agreed upon from the first tech (I was told it could be replaced/fixed in the exact way in which I paid for originally). They documented this as a "REFUSED/DENIAL" of services which it was not, as the tech noted he could not perform that service. Since 3/19/24 - I've had to call them almost every 48 hours or so to follow up as they promised they would call me and have not. I've talked to folks in the service department multiple times who've accused me of denying services and treated me as if I'm the problem. I've talked to the ** folks who say they can't do anything, and I've been re-routed to installation team who says they can't help because the system was installed 3 years ago. I've repeatedly asked for escalation to the manager **** who has never called back and conveniently now when I call, he's always "in the field." I've had no resolve to my issue and my system is still broken, and I'm still being charged monthly. Terrible service overall
