      Hilton Grand Vacations scammed ** out of $450 plus plane tickets! We had a trip booked for our 20th anniversary. We used the Hilton Grand Vacation package program which costed us $450 out of pocket for three nights at what we were told on the phone we would be staying at the Hilton head resort for three nights and it was for four people. Because they asked us and they assured us the condo we were supposed to get was for four people and had two rooms!!!!! Thank the Lord we didnt invite another couple but we did bring our adult two boys who were 20 and 22 along. We purchased four plane tickets because we were told we would get $250 back for the room charge that we never got. They gave us a a voucher to use that we never received. It was supposed to come in the mail! When is someone going to shut these people down! They 100 percent lied to us. When we arrived at Hilton Head from ******** we were booked at a one room old run down garden inn with two bedrooms, not bed rooms! Also we were not staying on the resort which we were told three times in three different phone conversations. We also had to do a 90 min sales meeting. Which this turned into three hours and we completely lost one day being there and didnt get the $250 in cash we were promised! I also checked Airbnb we couldve booked a condo for three nights for $278 so less than we paid for this horrible hotel and had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The reason is because they made us go during January we had no choice!!!! So we were told wed be staying at the resort and have two bedrooms. Nothing was ever ever ever mentioned that we would not be staying in the resort and would be in a hotel which two beds for $450. Obviously we would not have purchased plane tickets and invited our kids for this trip! They ruined our 20th anniversary experience and it was awful how they deceived us and manipulated us.       I am writing to outline my dissatisfaction and concern regarding the fraudulent practices I have experienced during my interactions with Hilton Grand Vacations. As a loyal Hilton customer, I expected transparency, honesty, and fair treatment, but unfortunately, my experience has been far from that. Thus far, I have experienced the following: misleading sales tactics to coerce me into purchasing a timeshare. Hidden fees and annual maintenance costs: I was not adequately informed about the extensive hidden fees and exorbitant maintenance costs associated with owning a timeshare. Lack of Availability and Flexibility: Despite assurances by their staff of flexibility and availability, I have encountered numerous difficulties in booking the desired accommodation and travel dates. Poor ***************** The level of customer service provided by ******************** has been consistently subpar and not Hilton like at all. My inquiries and concerns have been met with indifference and a lack of urgency, further exacerbating my frustration and dissatisfaction. I was subjected to high-pressure sales tactics that created a false sense of urgency to purchase a timeshare. The salesperson made unrealistic promises regarding the benefits and value of ownership, which were later proven to be grossly exaggerated. This deceptive approach is unacceptable and undermines the trust I had placed in Hilton Grand Vacations. Such lack of transparency is a clear breach of trust and misrepresentation on the part of Hilton Grand Vacations. Why Hilton allows this kind of activity under their good name is a mystery.

      All I can say is HGV *****. I upgraded from a diamond H3*333031353735343539H to HGV **** * upgrades in * years with empty promises each time, still no access. Very expensive mistakes. HGV has increased the number of points required for existing H3*333031353735343539Hs as well as the annual maintenance fees. The search engines do not work. The room descriptions are often wrong. The website kicks you out after every search. The amount of money I paid alone should be enough for a good programmer to fix the system problems yet the problems remain. The booking windows have changed for many H3*333031353735343539Hs from 13 to 10 or 6 months only. HGV is getting rid of the discounted mid-week days increasing them to the same rates as a weekend night, another increase in costs that was not mentioned in the presentations. The reduced rates for booking windows less that ******************************************* most cases you can book a room at the tier H3*333031353735343539Hs directly for less than on the HGV website. Your maintenance fees for the points are more than the posted H3*333031353735343539H rates. You spend 10s of thousands of dollars to join this organization and end up paying more than someone walking in off the street. HGV cant seem to get their financing system straight I am still showing money owed even though paid my maintenance fees months ago, I have talked with them so many times, my blood boils thinking about it. Their destination exchange is just another money grab, you save your points for a fee. Most H3*333031353735343539Hs you can only book with tier points and then stay a week instead of the 3 or more night option you had before. And more costs because the tiers round up to multiples of *000. All flexibility and benefits were lost with the merger with HGV. what happened to the diamond properties. The whole system *****. I wish I new how horrible this company was they lied about the benefits and what the upgrades provided. HGV is the biggest mistake of my life. An average scored of 1 for 898 reviews, because there was no lower rating option

      Diamond Resorts under a Hilton Grand Vacation flag is engaging in misleading and manipulative practices that have cost our family thousands of dollars. We anticipate we are not alone in this regard. We wrote to the President of the company for relief and have been met with nothing but emails with convenient ways to pay for what we dont want. A product that is grossly overpriced and misrepresented. The Transitions program requires that you pay for the privilege of being released from future payments by paying off the contract in full. Well, we say, roll it back to the original contract, and be grateful for what we paid. Their entire structure is built around if its not working you must need MORE POINTS. If it is working, then you need MORE POINTS. Each time we balked at spending more money, the sales agents would sweeten the deal. At one point we mentioned how we wanted to take our girls to ******, which we were told was easily doable. We were told that this vacation would only cost us points and absolutely no money out of our pockets. Later, when we attempted to book this trip, we discovered that we had to pay out of pocket for the flightswe were told this wouldnt happen and that our points would cover flights and rental car.Since our trip to ******, our youngest daughterwho had been battling an auto-immune diseasewas also diagnosed with arthritis. This has put an immense financial and emotional strain on our family. We have repeatedly tried to contact ******* to explain our hardship, but this has been impossible since the merger between Diamond and Hilton. Our family comes first, and we have been severely misled about the cost and benefits associated with our timeshare contract. This has become too much to bear for us and we are seeking a swift resolution in the form of our contract being terminated.

      My experience with Hilton Grand Vacations, *** has been less than spectacular. I was told several things that were then rebuked. 1) I only had to pay a down payment and would pay the rest of the payment upon arrival at the location. When I was asked to pick my dates I was then told I needed to pay the full amount. 2) I was told I could cancel and get a reimbursement as long as it was within a certain amount of time. I did indeed cancel, but the individual I was in contact with did not respond to me for more than a week and a half. She said she was out of office, but there was no "out-of-office" message on email nor on her voicemail. She said she would start the process for reimbursement, then proceeded not to contact me for three days. When I reached out to her again, she said that I wasn't due a refund because I made my choices in July (when it actually was August) and it was too late. When I rebuked this information, she said that they didn't provide refunds at all, nor did they allow transfers, but then I could "choose" another location (which is basically a transfer). 3) I, again, made this transacation in August of 2023, and in April of 2024 I still didn't have a location that would be staying at. This place is a scam and everything they say is contradicatory! I see on the other reviews that HGV has said they will reach out to the reviewer, but I wonder if they actually do and actually get retribution for their wrongful interactions with them. Highly doubtful. With all of these complaints, I think a call to the ************************* is warranted today. DO NOT USE THEM

      Deceptive Practices!!!! Please avoid Hilton Grand Vacations at all cost!! I was sold a *** package in 2022. I was also sold another one a year later. From past experience you aren't supposed to be able to purchase another one for a while. I specifically asked the agent is this allowed. He said it is different because you have a *** package. With that information I purchased the 3 night package he was offering. Well fast forward I purchased it and decided to use it. I made a reservation for ********* with ease. I was actually pleased with the easy reservation process. I needed to change the date and I called back a few months later to be told we have to cancel your reservation because you have the *** package which expires in 2 months and we will refund you your money for the other package because you can't have two. I am beyond furious because I had booked that stay for my daughters volleyball tournament and bought flights. So now I ask can I use the *** package for the original destination of her tournament and they tell me no because my dates are after it would expire. Now I have to scramble to take a 7 night vacation before June and there aren't space available for any place that I would like to travel. This experience has left me speechless and as a Hilton Honors member I will never book as much as a hotel room with them anymore. The sad thing is in the midst of my tears that didn't even have any compassion they kept saying there is nothing we can do. I never even got the receipt stating I had been refunded. This actually needs a no star rating!!

      Hilton Grand Vacations is becoming a fraud. We purchased a 3days/2 nights ******** vacation from Hilton Grand Vacations when they called. After we purchased it, every time we want to book the dates to visit ********, they cannot find vacancies. Until the package expired, they would not extend it without further cost. The package is $285,75. They want $78 more to extend it for another year. I consider this purchase a fraud as they make it impossible for me to use it. Also, i am a Gold member of Hilton Honors. This experience really tarnished my experience with Hilton. The brand is going downhill.

      We're writing this review to express our profound dissatisfaction with Hilton Grand Vacations.Our journey has been marked by coercion,deception,highpressure sales tactics,and a disgusting lack of transparency.To date,we have invested well over $15,000 in HGV.Despite our high payments,each time we try to travel we are forced to endure hourslong sales ploys where we are coerced into purchasing additional points with the promise of better availability and quality of service.NONE of their promises have been delivered,and it is time that they terminate our contract.For four long hours we were misled into believing that the time shares being offered to us were valuable,and that they could even be rented out to cover the costs of this arrangement.We were promised that we could sell the timeshare back to HGV at any time,but the salespeople insisted that after having such a taste of luxury we wouldnt dream about it.We have declined multiple offers but no matter how many times we decline,their sales reps refuse to take no for an answer.We were rushed through this process,preventing us from accessing crucial documents that wouldve caused us to change our minds.For example,we had no idea about our legal right to cancel the sale.This purchase was presented to us as a real estate investment that would grow in value and could be sold back to Hilton or sold to another person at any time.This was blatantly false.We were also promised unprecedented access to ****** resorts,cruises,and theme parks,which we have discovered is not true.We were also lied to about the amount of recurring monthly payment(299 v 344).Its abundantly clear that the salespeople at HGV trapped us in predatory contracts using deceptive sales tactics,withholding critical information,and misinformation.Should our request for cancellation not be accepted,we will be forced to escalate this situation to the highest regulatory bodies available to us in the states of CA,**,and ** as well as applicable federal agencies.
