We stayed at **** ********** ****** extremely unhygienic, a huge bug smashed on the wall, toe nail clippings on our coffee table, hair in every bed, sticky stuff on counter tops, old sitting water in kitchen. Curtain rod was hanging off the wall. First night was spent asking for help (after driving 10+ hours from virginia (& NY 6+ hours prior) with a 2 year old & 3 month old). I got in touch with Demetrius who assured me it would be ok. The cleaning company banged hard multiple times until i got to the door. “we heard you’re complaining whats the problem… “ etc. I showed her everything & she started complaining in spanish. She spoke over me. She saw the hair in every bed. She said they dont wash mattress cover or comforter unless its visibly dirty. I asked for cleaning supplies she said “I can not clean this for you tonight! “ I told her I would do it, she said “NO?!” I called demetrius & he said dont bother with her just take some pics & send. I did everything promptly. I told demetrius I was just worried for my kids being in a unhygienic place because they are babies. he said she would bring us sheets. The rest of our guests were arriving at 2 am.. The cleaning lady came back in & threw sheets on the table. When I went to change the beds she mixed up all the sheets. The next morning a team came by they were warm & friendly. I told them how the freezer wasnt making ice & everything that happened the day before. They apologized and brought us a gift bag. I was grateful for them. This was tuesday now. We had no ice for our cooler, & were late to disney. They said they would have everything cleaned. Later, that day my daughter projectile vomited & then also had explosive diarrhea. I knew something wasnt right. My daughter was sick a few more times that night. The next morning we skipped the parks tried to use the pool, the heater was broken. They sent someone a couple of hours later to fix it. They refunded the heating fee which we were thankful for but we lost our chance to use it bc we fell ill. The other family used it and the chemicals burned their skin. By Thursday we were very sick and skipped the parks. I called our dr and they said norovirus usually exposed 12-24 hours before symptoms begin. It lines up to our first night. I called my aunt who we stayed with the day before and no one ended up sick. Demetrius initially was very helpful but by thursday as soon as I became very ill i asked for help with an urgent care or hospital & he never answered. Never checked on us etc. we were sick the rest of the trip and never heard from anyone again. When we were checking out our cleaning lady was extremely pregnant, we offered to help her in anyway possible and gave her a tip in hopes she cleaned it right for the next guest.
