Scheduled to have obsolete equipment replaced November 2021, the company contractor canceled the appointment citing not having the equipment and has not returned calls to reschedule for a period of 3 months. On January 18th, 2022, the fire alarm in the home went off at 3am. 3 calls were placed to this company (no calls were made to mine or my husband's phones) and all 3 calls went to voicemail. We did call the non-emergency line for the OCFD and they did respond for a well check and found the issue was with the alarm. I called Southeast Wiring the following morning, was told they would "make a note of it" offered no explanation as to why we were not notified and why no one answered the phone, also took another complaint about the contractor not calling us to reschedule the equipment change. I was transferred to Angela who is supposedly in charge of fire alarms only to be told she does commercial accounts only, not residential. On January 31st, 2022, we notified this company we would be ending our services with them effective Feb 28,2022 for their failure to provide contracted services. I was told that I was "autorenewed" and "could not get out of my contract" Per the contract, it did autorenew on January 28th, 2021 and again on January 28,2021 after completion of the required 3 year contract. We were never notified or given any paperwork regarding the autorenewal and had to ask for a copy of the contract after being told we were "required" to keep their services through 2024. Southeast wiring FAILED to provide contracted services and for these reasons, we have since installed Vivint equipment and have employed them for our security. Furthermore, on Feb 2.20222, our new system was installed, I was never contacted about the Southeast system being disabled and my husband only received a text message 45 minutes AFTER the system was disable.
