We contracted with Pro-tech Roofing on Jan 17, 2019 to redo our entire house with a brand new metal roof for a price of $46,800. This has a 10 year warranty. Since that time the roof has leaked twice! About a year ago there was a big leak in the living room skylight area and it took many weeks of phone calls and badgering to get anyone from Pto-tech to even come out there. Finally they fixed the roof but not all the drywall ceiling damage. Here again we got the run around for over 3 months of trying to get someone out their to fix the drywall. It took dozens of phone calls and texts and all we got was one excuse after the next. Finally, they sent someone to fix this but this took an extraordinary effort from us for something so simple. Fast forward to 2022-23, we have yet another leak in the garage and cannot get insurance for our house until this is fixed. The inspector stated that the roofing company did not do a proper repair but simply boarded a piece of OSB or plywood to block the leak. And so here we are again with dozens of phone calls over the last 2 months and once again the lady says, "they owner will get in touch with you." And, so far, we cant get any callback or appointment to get this fixed! It was always the same story from the receptionist, "All I can do is forward the message to the owner. I can't make him call you".. The owner or manager did call one Thursday in January 26th and said that someone would be out there that Saturday to check it and possibly fix it but, then, no one showed up, no call back and no further texts since then. So while they were quick to take a lot of our money to install the roof, the after sales support from this company has been horrible! All we want is for Pro-tech Roofing to honor their warranty, act like a professional company and FIX OUR ROOF LEAK.... we can finally get insurance!
