Poor customer service. Slow to respond and first level is not knowledgeable and can't resolve issues. Managers will call you back and are kind and helpful, but that kindness doesn't achieve results. Problems remain unsolved for weeks while you have endless conversations in the secure messaging section of the web page. The phone system will just spin your around in circles, never getting to the person or department who can solve your problem. Never would I use or recommend this company again.

I believe Mortgage companies are always in it for what is the most gains for them but some do have also customers in mind as well....for me FBC mortgage and my loan officer Spencer ***** only had one thing in mind and how much can we screw customer and what is the most we can get out of them by creating lies and deceiving them. They change loan estimates multiple times around closing time which they know they have the upper hand because it is late in the game and you have no other choice. Spencer sent over an estimate in which it showed the loan amount of the house for a higher price then agreed but with much lower down payment. He called to say he screwed up and that if we wanted to leave as it is with higher price and lower down payment knowing that 80% of customers would agree because of course you going in with much lower payment then you thought...they were asking me for 22k and then he came with 15k that is almost 7k lower than you thought for the downpayment....so of course I fell into the trap and agreed to the higher price on the house and lower payment only to find loan estimate one day before closing that they raised the price of the house and was still asking for 22K for down payment. when confronted Spencer he did not know what to say and have me the run around a bunch of lies. Stay away from this loan service company and do yourself a favor and go to local bank or credit union. If they tell you if you service with them and they will pay for your closing costs you end up paying it in the end and they just move around numbers in their loan estimates.....very unethical of a company and a person as Spencer is.Review from Dallas C

It's funny how since it was launched, their payment assistance page provides an error message. I notified them of this error a year ago, and they still have not fixed it on their website. That is incredibly shady, and so obviously on purpose.Review from Sasha Ortega

Customer Service at its worst!! my kids tested positive for covid and I communicated that with lender as it was a week or so before my closing. a few days prior to my closing I tested positive and again contacted the company asking If they would kindly reschedule my closing until I was feeling better and until I was negative. They refused to reschedule my closing date. With that being said I did not get the final numbers for my closing cost until 2 hours prior to closing and although I was able to sign some documents online I still had to drive to Haines City from Clermont with fever and positive with covid to finalize my closing. They had no regards for my safety or for the safety of those around as the agent who came out to me did not wear a mask or keep her distance she knew I was positive and had a lobby full of families waiting to close. I am now trying to pay my first Mortgage payment and I contacted the information that was provided and it seems no one can find me by the loan number or personal information and no one seems to respond to my emails or phone calls. It seem as the priority was only the sell of the home.FBC Mortgage, LLC Response

They get a star for the discount given at closing because they are a "preferred lender." Otherwise, I've had my closing moved back 10 days to Monday, 4/26/21 only to find out at about 4 pm today (Friday, 4/23/21) that closing has been moved again. That is less than one business day. I thought I was in the clear and hired help to unload my belongings. I'll probably eat that fee now. And why? They were missing a document that I needed to sign that was not attached to the original email and THEY didn't figure it out until, you guessed it, less than 24 hours before closing.
