Buyer beware!! Worst experience ever!! We went in the store to buy all or appliances for our new home that was being built. This was when all the shortages were going on. We went in 4 months before we were to move in because we were being told by a lot of stores that they couldn't guarantee when we would even get it. So Appliance Direct said that if we purchased the appliances they would hold them all for us. We purchased warranties on all 5 appliances. A couple of weeks before we were to move in our new house we went back to Appliance Direct to tell them we needed them to deliver the appliances in 2 weeks. We come to find out that they had sold all our 5 appliances to someone else! And we had already paid over $5,000 for them! We can't even move into our new home until the appliances are installed! We had to pick out all different appliances that was in the store. The refrigerator that we had picked out they didn't have anymore. So we had to get a lesser model for more money. Then after we moved in a few weeks later the refrigerator started leaking water on the floor. We called them up and they told us that we had to call the manufacturer for the warranty to get fixed. We called and they told us that the refrigerator was not covered under the warranty because it was refurbished!! They never said anything about it being refurbished! We paid for the warranty and it wasn't any good! They wouldn't give us any money back. We ended up throwing that refrigerator out and having to buy a new refrigerator somewhere else. We bought a dishwasher from the ******* store not quite 3 weeks ago. Our salesman, ****, was helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. He showed us several models, comparing and explaining the upsides of each. We chose a brand-new, unopened box, higher-end model. This was a Friday.Our dishwasher was delivered three days later on Monday. Hooked up and "ready to go" the first time to test, we heard a terrible squeaking sound and read an error code. And the unanswered phone calls began.First call on Monday to the store (the only number we have), we were told we would be contacted by a serviceman to come and look at the machine. On Wednesday morning, having heard nothing, we called again. The salesman, Jace, was polite and told us he would contact the necessary people and someone will call us back. Wednesday afternoon, we called again. We were told an email chain stated that a worker had been to our home, and a part had been ordered. We informed no one had come. No one had called.This same pattern has continued every single day for 10 days since. Salesman: "I can't believe no one has called you yet!" Us: "Not one single call. We want a new machine." Salesman: "I'll call again and get back to you."I swear we are this close to putting the thing in the car, dropping it off at the store, and demanding a refund.I will update when/if this gets resolved.Review from Rob B

Dont buy nothing from appliance direct they do not have any communication with their delivery people they tell you what you want to hear and thats it and when you ask questions they get mad and tell you how stupid you are. These are the worst people to deal with trying to get your money back you got a better chance I win the lotto.Review from Jaymee L

When I purchased my appliances I insured to tell them that two people were needed for delivery because it was going up six stairs. Upon delivery there was only one person who literally ripped one of the doors off of my refrigerator, amongst other damage which caused the seal of the fridge to be compromised so I have food going bad regularly. I have now dealing with this situation for a year and 2 months. Every time that I call I am told that a manager will get back to me which almost never happens and when I have spoke to management they always tell me they have to reach back out to corporate and I never hear back from anybody. I am paying for a $1,700 refrigerator that was damaged and am constantly having to throw away food because it's spoiling because of the seal being compromised.Review from Cynthia S

First of all they never gave me a delivery window and when they finally did show up at 645pm the stove was wrong the refrigerator doors were uneven dishwasher and range are still in the box I will never deal or order from them againReview from Alison P

I bought a Samsung kitchen package and maytag washer and dryer years ago and have had no problems with any of them. Delivery was very smooth and quick. I will be back.Review from Aloma W

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM APPLIANCE DIRECT IN MELBOURNE!! THEY SELL DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE AND WONT REPLACE IT!! I PURCHASED A NEW SIDE BY SIDE WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR AND 3 DAYS LATER ITS STILL WONT GO DOWN TO THE FDA REQUIRED 40 DEGREES EVEN ON THE HIGHEST SETTING. I REACHED OUT TO THE STORE MANAGER ANTHONY "TRACE" PERRI VIA TEXT THE DAY AFTER MY DELIVERY WHEN HE DIDN'T ANSWER MY CALL AND AFTER HE HAD HIS COMPLETELY EMPTY FLOOR MODEL/SAME AS MINE PLUGGED IN AND DOWN TO 40 DEGREES IN UNDER 3 HOURS HE STILL REFUSED TO REPLACE MY DEFECTIVE REFRIGERATOR. HE NEVER SHOWED ANY EMPATHY OR OFFERED ANY APPOLOGY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE OF NOT BEING ABLE TO USE A BRAND NEW $1200 REFRIGERATOR. HE SPENT 3 HOURS TEXTING ME CONTINUOUSLY ASKING ME WHERE I HAD MY THERMOMETER LOCATED INSIDE MY REFRIGERATOR. NEVER ONCE DID HE OFFER A SOLUTION. I CALLED HIM A SECOND TIME AFTER 3 HOURS OF TEXTING WITH HIM ASKING ME WHERE THE THERMOMETER WAS PLACED IN THE REFRIGERATOR WHEN I HAD ALREADYANSWERED THAT QUESTIONTHE FIRST 2 TIMES AND I TOLD HIM I WANTED A NEW REFRIGERATOR AND HE HUNG UP ON ME. AFTER HE HUNG UP ON ME HE TEXT ME OFFERING TO SEND A TECHNICIAN TO FIX WHAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A BRAND NEW REFRIGERATOR. I TOLD HIM YET AGAIN I WANT IT REPLACED WITH A NEW WORKING REFRIGERATOR. I EMAILED THE OWNER SAM PAK AT HIS ONLINE LISTED EMAIL ADDRESS AND GOT NO RESPONSE. THEY DELIBERATELY SELL DEFECTIVE/FAULTY MERCHANDISE AND REFUSE TO REPLACE IT!!! Appliance Direct leads you directly to a dishonest corporate sales manager who lies about delivery fees and times. At no point was there a way for any confusion to occur as my question was “Can we get this delivered today?” “Yeah. It’ll be $75.”. We went ahead with the purchase, but we’re charged $110. Partly due to weather our fridge was not delivered the same. Had the fridge been delivered at the time we were told, it would’ve missed the rain. This was not the delivery man’s fault, but the salesperson’s misleading information. I will never shop there again, nor will I recommend anyone going there. We decided we wanted a refund and was not refunded for a fridge that didn’t leave the truck. Also, upon price comparing online, the prices there are definitely marked up.Review from Russ P.

Worst experience ever. They left my house with an electrical shock and fire hazard situation that I had to hire another company to fix. City code officials said it is terrible the way they left the install. The certified electricians from the second company I hired to fix their jury rigged wiring, were shocked at how they left the wiring. Paid to have a outlet put in so you could just plug in the dishwasher. They just cut the wire coming out of the wall and the cord that came with the dishwasher and twisted them together and threw the wires back behind the dish washer. Their installers are not part of their company, they are 3rd party. They are not electricians, but Appliance Direct says they work under their license. The installer left with the dishwasher insulation also, saying we did not need it. But the counter top got to 99 degrees, with a digital thermometer, the 1st time we used it. After 2 weeks of promises to fix both issues, and a cancelled appt., by them, to fix it, I asked for the electric box install money back and the insulation so I could take care of it myself. DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE INSTALL ANYTHING. ***** and **** ***** had the same dishwasher for the same price, just would have had to wait a few days.Review from Barbara T

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM APPLIANCE DIRECT IN PALM BAY!!!! I BOUGHT A WASHER AND DRYER FROM THEM...AND WITH IN A WEEK A WAS NOT HAPPY WITH IT AT ALL, AND I CALLED AND ASKED IF THEY WOULD PLEASE TAKE IT BACK AND LET ME UPGRADE TO A BETTER QUALITY ONE....THEY SENT A APPLIANCE MAN OUT TO LOOK AT IT, AND HE TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT.....OF COURSE HE IS GOING TO SAY THAT!!! IT IS A PIECE OF JUNK AND THE OWNER, I BELIEVE HIS NAME IS JIMMY IS EXTREMELY RUDE!!! HE REFUSES TO TAKE IT BACK AND SAID IF HE DOES HE GOING TO CHARGE ME 50% RESTOCKING FEE, AND DELIVERY ...SO I AM STUCK WITH THIS CRAP FOR $722 PLUS I PAID FOR DELIVERY... I PUT IT ON THE SLOWEST SPEED AND IT STILL TEARS MY CLOTHS UP...TODAY IT TORE UP A WASH CLOTH....HAVE YOU EVER!!!!! SO STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE IF YOU ARE SMART
