Promag is great! I had a new unit installed by them last year. The quality of the installation, clean, and professional service was outstanding. The inside air handler area needed a complete overhaul because the old unit had long-term leaks, mold, etc. Promag took out all the old walls and rebuilt the entire closet, making it healthy and new. They went over all the features because I ask a lot of questions. New drain lines, condensate pump, etc. Great and fair price. This month I had my first maintenance service. I was using a filter that was not good for energy efficiency with this unit and the owner, JD was on this service call and demonstrated what the correct filter can do for energy efficiency, as well as doing a complete service check. I'm now gaining 40% more efficiency simply by using the right filter too. Thanks JD and Promag for providing the personal touch. -DawnReview from Lee Y.

Avoid this place at all costs! Pro Mag of Ft. Pierce solicited my parents for a system cleaning my parents are elderly with dementia the tech Chris ******* told my parents their ac had a leak and that they needed a new system, conned my elderly mom into purchasing a unit at over $8000 for 1.5 ton unit on a 1000 sq ft house then got her to do financing with ally and sign on his cell phone. My mother didn't know what company it was financed through or the total amount. This company committted Fraud and elder abuse do not trust them. The tech Chris ******* nor the owner John ****** will talk on the phone. Currently have reported the matter to St Lucie Sheriff Dept Econopic Crimes Division, Depart of Business of Professional Regulation and to the Attorney General Senior Protection Team for investigationProMag Energy Group, Inc. We are sorry to hear that a 2nd party to our customer is unhappy. Since this party was not there at the time the technician was there or during the 8 hours the install was completed, some of the information listed is not accurate. The application for financing was not completed on our technicians device, it was completed on our customers personal device. Only our internal invoices are signed by the customer on our employees device and then sent to the customer as we are paperless like many companies. At no time did our tech, office staff or installers feel there were any issues with the customer not wanting this system or being confused by what was being purchased. There were in fact other contractors set to come to this home as was advised by our customer when she called to verify the appointment. The 2nd party involved did call our office in days after the install was completed. He was advised the owner was out (it was later in the afternoon) and would be happy to speak to him if he could call back after 9 AM the following business day. He said to our Office Manager at that time “No I will not be calling back”. The owner is not John Harris so he would not be the person handling any 2nd party complaints. From our understanding this person did in fact speak to our technician Chris on the phone. The management team and owner did try to reach out to our customer but to no avail as they were hung up on by our customer. We stand behind our work and would be happy to address this if our customer and party making this complaint would reach out to our office at 407-380-5560 Monday- Friday 9Am-12Pm to speak to the company owner and resolve this matter. I CALLED THIS COMPANY LATE AT NIGHT ON A WEEKEND WHEN MY AC STOPPED WORKING. THEY ACTUALLY SENT A TECHNICIAN OUT AND HE WAS THERE WITHIN AN HOUR OF ME CALLING. HE CHECKED ECERYTHING OUT AND IT WAS A VERY SIMPLE FIX THAT HE WAS ABLE TO DO DURING HIS VISIT. MY HOME WAS COOLING WITHIN 3 HOURS OF IT BREAKING DOWN. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE AND THEY WERE JUST ALL AROUND VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL. I WILL BE RECOMMENDING THEM TO ANYONE I KNOW AND LOVE AS AN HONEST AND RELIABLE COMPANY!!!ProMag Energy Group, Inc. Response

Pro Mag Energy Orlando is calling senior citizens at night telling them they are on there way to their house. The seniors have no idea who the company is and never have they used that company. The phone number doesn't work. The seniors are on the national "No Call list".Review from Jay A

Terrible company and worse company ownership. I purchased a new AC system from ProMag in 2019 and asked if there would be a permit pulled and was told yes. I kept checking the county records for any permit being pulled and nothing. I was assured it would "show up" eventually. Over a year later I checked back and nothing... no permit, no record of a new AC. Nada.
I then called to complain and ask for a resolution. I was told someone would get back to me from the company. With ZERO communication I was called by my tenants and told that there was a notice on the door that a permit had been pulled and pending inspection. They filed a permit request for the current date as if they had just installed it. The city came out inspected and put the permit into the database. All without hearing anything from the company that any of this was going on.
Fast forward to today, which is what led me to come the the BBB and ****** to file this review. The AC went out and I called ProMag and was greeted by a man on the phone stating he was the "answering service". he told me it would be a $95 service charge and someone would be in contact with me to schedule a time to come out. I waited an hour and after not hearing back I scheduled another company to come out to take a look because I didn't want my tenants without AC.
Around 2 hours after initially contacting ProMag a guy calls me and says he's outside of my house to fix the AC. Again ZERO communication and I was never told they could even make it out there that night. He just shows up in which I responded that another company was already on their way. I explained the guy who I spoke with was very unclear and said "someone would be in touch". Five minutes later the "answering service" calls me back with a major attitude stating he was the owner and told me that if "his guys leaves the property without looking at the AC and collecting the fee, he will void my 10 year warranty" in which I responded, nice you're threatening customers now... and he then proceeded to tell me its not a threat... its a ...in which I cut him off with some vibrant words and hung up.
Meanwhile the tenant called me and said his guy is already in my house without permission taking the AC apart to diagnose. I spoke with him, explained the situation and asked him to leave due to the unprofessionalism of his boss/owner.
New AC company shows up and tells me the emergency shut off key was missing because someone took it and he had to bypass it...
Terrible experience, horrible communication, unprofessional ownership, and then crosses the line with threats about cancelling my warranty. Seriously besides myself that this guy and his company has lasted this long with his hot headed temperament, but also makes perfect sense as to why they have an F on BBB. They earned that grade with flying colors.

Please do not attempt using this company st all cost! I used them when my AC stopped cooling. They charge the most from all companies around $110, and when came to my house, the technician decided we have a leak and should replace the whole system, which was only 6 year old. He didn't want to add any refrigerator in case that would solve the problem. He insisted it won't help. Left us with no cool air and we needed to call second opinion which said right away that we are missing less than a pound refrigerator and 2 bolts to tightened it. That solved the issue, no new system. When I called to ask for the money back, the manager was rude and disrespectful. He right away defended his technician and said the other technician was a disgrace . We will take him to small claims just to make him understand that he can treat customers that bad and disrespectful. They should be ashamed.Review from David R

JD from this company convinced my 78 year old widowed mother that she should pay them $1275 to install a condensation pump.
This is a $60 item and fifteen minutes of work to connect it to the AC pan, run a $5 plastic tube to the washer drain two feet behind the pump and plug it into the wall socket.
I've gotten a couple of quotes and they have ranged from $200 to $300.
My mother told me about it and I said she needed to ask for a refund. They gave her a song and dance about insurance and having to pay workers and left it at that.
I called and spoke to "JD". He hung up on me the first time I called and then was clearly angry with me for daring to question the price when I called back.
He said he would "look into it" and call me back but hasn't at this time, nearly a week later.
I'm reporting them to the Florida States Attorneys Senior Protection Team.

This company is the worst kind of business. They know they are unethical and consider it a cost of doing business. No repeat customers because one experience with them and you will never come back. The owner is not only unethical in his business dealings, but was extremely rude to my wife for having the audacity to call them out on their practices. They installed two 4-ton units in our home, both with coil leaks, which we did not know until 2 weeks after the 1 year warranty on labor expired. The manager acknowledged that this was likely the case and acknowledged the poor installation, which didn't even pass inspection on the first try. He said it was out of his hands and said there was nothing they could do. They could replace the coils at no charge for labor but instead quoted us $975 EACH to replace the coils that were clearly damaged at installation. A reputable company would have the ability to go to the manufacturer for selling them a "lemon" of a product. No real use complaining as it appears they have no cares about their reputation. Service manager is Fred and the owner is JD. Had to give one star to leave the review. There is a reason they are not members of the BBB.
