              I used Franks consistently about 20 years ago however I stopped, had forgotten what happened but decided to give them another try because they are local, family-owned business. Well, of course I remember - it's called bait and switch. They advertise after hours service - quoted 2 different prices which of course I was willing to pay - someone would call me within 30 minutes of arriving - my call was around 5 or 6pm - by 10 no one showed up at all - they never called, etc. - then they call the next morning to schedule me - and boy I am the fool - this has happened like this twice in the last month - last night I must have called 10 times between 8pm and 10pm - they finally told me that if no one calls back I should know - they don’t service after 10pm - that is a horrible way to treat an elder person with medical issues in Florida with this heat - they should tell you the service request is simply a "roll of the dice" you may get service, you may not - at their leisure and their convenience with NO communication unless you call back and hound them. This won’t happen to me again - I am a customer for life for good service and have owned my home for over 20 years - but only if it is good service and Frank's AC is clearly lacking.

              We apologize for this inconvenience. We work very hard to take care of our customers in a timely manner. The technician on call stated he tried to call on 6/25 and there was no answer. We would like to do anything we can to make up for this.

              Absolutely awesome ! I have dealt with many contractors and Franks AC. is one of the best! They have been servicing my property for several years and need a 5-star rating in all areas, Professional, courteous, timely, etc. Also, they are a local, family-owned business with a reputation to uphold (unlike national chains that put you through endless loops and non-service when you call with a problem.) Hire them.

              Terrible service and no response from Owner through all this. I had scheduled a new install on a Saturday so I would not have to take time off from work. The day they installed the unit they didn't incase the intake so the air was not even going through the filter but sucking in from around the door. I had to have them come back out on Tuesday afternoon (took off work) and they wanted to keep doing short cuts on the system which I would have been having to clean my coils every 6 months or more with the air not being filtered. So, they had their supervisor come over to my house and he suggested to fix it the correct way and in case the intake, like it was before so the air is being sucked through the filter. So, they had to schedule for a different day, I had to take the entire day off from work. They came back out and fixed it the correct way, which took them most of the day. So, I finally had it working correctly. I was told that the city inspection was scheduled in 2 weeks in the afternoon, I was told that twice from the tech. So, I took the afternoon off to go and meet the inspector between 12-5pm. The inspector never showed up. I contacted the office and was told the city was behind on their inspections, ok that's fine but why didn't someone reach out to me and say we'll have to get in contact with you when the city could come out. Then I asked about a rebate that was on their website and was told it wasn't in effect until November 1st. Well first off you shouldn't have it on your website yet and second it had no dates on it. So, my sales guy talked to the owner and was told that he would honor $200 of it. Not one time did the owner reach out to me and he was copied in on numerous emails and knew what was going on. The lack of response from the owner, the excuses I was giving to the different issues was just mind blowing. I work for a large roofing company in Orlando and ACs are installed on the roofs of these buildings, I would not recommend any of my GCs to use this company. Customer service went out the window with this company! No one tried to make it right for me except their field supervisor. Maybe they just need to stick with servicing A/C's and leave the installs to professionals.
