I had a pipe with a minor leak. I wanted it repaired before it became a problem. I called this company as I had used them before with good results. I explained what I needed and a crew of 2 was sent out, for what I was told, to make the repair. I received a call from one of the men prior to their arrival asking me to send pictures of my setup to they would know what to bring. I sent the photos by text. When the men arrived they looked at the pipe and said they would return in the am to make the repair. The next day, no one showed up and around noon I called the office and was told that they got pulled to an emergency and I was rescheduled. This happened again the next day but since there was no urgency I told the office to let me know when it could be done. The repair was made a few days later and the man that repaired it was there a little less than an hour. I called the office a few days later inquiring about the bill and an invoice was emailed to me as requested. I was surprised to see a bill for $454.25, $363 of which was for labor. I called the office for explanation of the charges. I was told that I was billed for both visits and that labor charges start when the employee leaves the office and continues until they return. I was not advised of this billing process. Also, I was told that the original visit was to make the repair, which was not done, and I should not have been billed for that visit. I told this to the woman in the office that I spoke with and she told me that they needed to come out the first time to see what was needed to make the repair. She told me that they could not know what to bring based on photos. If this is true, why would they ask me to send them? I did ask to speak to the manager but the woman just served as the messenger. She did tell me the manager's name was "*** ******". I expressed my displeasure with the bill and the woman rather snidely stated "well you have water now don't you?" I always had water, again this was minor.
