Hack journalism at its finest. "This piece expresses the views of its author(s), separate from this publication." What a total disregard for accountability. Its clearly a view of the paper that chose to support and publish the opinion. I woke this morning to this beauty of what they call a "piece" titled "If Midwest won't share water don't ask us for help with your woes." How a so called professional publication can take an opinion such as this serious enough to publish it is mind boggling ignorant and asinine. You people wine and cry for water from the Midwest and then publish this garbage trying to start some sort of civil war. How about this... stop filling your swimming pools, watering your gardens and lawns out in the desert and then you might not be running out of water...eh Mr. Martin W****. Your sense of entitlement and ownership is fiercely disgusting. The fact the Desert Sun gave you a soap box to stand on shows their lack of professionalism in journalism. We have twitter and other avenues to get people's opinions so maybe find some real journalists who report on real news instead of being so lazy they just publish idiotic opinions of their readers.
