I received a call from Dorn’s gas on March 22 2022 stating that I had a balance of $322.71 that was passed due and had to be paid immediately to avoid collections, after hanging up I realized that the date/address that was on the invoice didn’t match my current address. I moved out from *** ******** Ave *****, CA ***** in late august of 2021 and the service provided by Dorn’s gas was in December 30 2021. I called back in the next day or so to explain that I thought I was paying for my current address propane bill and realized it was not. I was advised by the receptionist (******) that they would have to get in contact with the new renters and get their info in order to receive my refund back and that it could take weeks for them to get back to me. I called again for an update and she transferred me over to the manager in charge ******* ****** who quickly told me that I was not getting a refund back as to they had proof that they had provided the service of pumping 87.10 gallons at that address. I told him that I was not living in that address since late august and also I did not have a contract with them to pump propane. His response was "we were in that route" and that was his excuse to pump propane. I told him I wanted my money back and he said I was not receiving it, that he wasn't gonna deal with me since the bill was already paid and done. What kind of response is that from someone who "claims" to be a manager? All I want is my refund back and for them to fix their mistake of charging the wrong person, I have proof that I moved out on august and was not there when service was provided.
