    I was in the process of applying for an apartment. I provided my banking information for them to take out $46.00 for the application fee and $250.00 for the holding deposit. I filled out the application and added a potential roommate to the application. The potential roommate never applied or supplied them with any information so my application was denied. I was told I would be receiving the $250.00 back in the mail within 21 days to reimburse me for the money that was taken out for the holding deposit. When I received the check in the mail it was only for $204.00. I called and spoke with ***** ******* the Assistant Community Manager and she told me that the money was taken out of my account because they screened the potential roommate that I named on my application. That was not possible since they did not have any information on the potential applicant except for a name since the potential applicant never supplied them with any information. They should not have charged me $46.00 just because I added a name to my application as a potential roommate which was done because I was told once the application was approved no changes could be made. They need to reimburse me the $46.00 back since they only had my information. I should not be charged $46.00 for adding a name onto my application.

    Let me start by saying everyone in this damn place is completely ignorant. But, I’ll stick with Pamela the property manager who continues to say she doesn’t know anything. I guess I’m the ignorant one for not believing that she doesn’t know anything because she really doesn’t and her Regional manager Larry is an incompetent dummy that condones bad customer service from his employees in the leasing office. I was told to my face by Pamela that she hung up in my face on purpose after their leasing office was blowing my phone up at work for their mess up. I then went through obstacles to get ahold of her manager Larry who doesn’t “exist” and he was condoning her behavior by saying that this company is taught to hang up when a customer raises a certain type of concern. How? What company is taught to hang up in customer’s face, and have a regional manager be okay with it? The Paseos at Montclair North. Pamela and Larry are completely in the wrong, and shouldn’t be allowed to manage anything and I need everyone to know that and this is how they treat customers that they call and badger. And I didn’t even mention how I was mislead on move in day, and they ended up only crediting me $1800 on my account and putting my family through hell and false advertisement on move in day. This place is a joke, and these two people shouldn’t be allowed to manage anything seeing as they can’t even manage themselves.
