I had a 9am appointment. The appointment was to diagnose. My expectation when making an appointment is that my vehicle is seen on or about the time of the appointment. Instead I get told it will in all likelihood not even be seen today. To that I ask what is the point in making an appointment? I had even called ahead of time to see what they meant by appointment. I was told they may not be able to see it right at 9 but within about a half hour. That seemed reasonable to me. This place is roughly 25 miles from my home. You can imagine how upset I was when I was informed how they wasted my time and my gas. I was furious. Told the the guy to move as he was standing between me and my truck. He was like oh you mean excuse me. When I spoke to the manager he was attempting to be helpful but I was pissed. I asked him why they make appointments that they had no intentions of keeping. He said that's not how it works at an auto shop. If that is not how it works, making appointments so that your car is seen at that time, then what is the point? It ended with me cussing at him mostly because I was ticked off at having driven there with an appointment that they had no intention of keeping. Look I spoke to many places before landing on this one. Mountain View baited me with the option to make an appointment. I wasted over an hour driving there and back about 50 miles. I attempted to be honest in regards to my own behavior. Also the manager was all upset because I used foul language and he thought that was not respectful. Guess what else is not respectful, not honoring your appointments. Having a customer drive 25 miles one way so 50 in total mileage not to mention the time spent driving there and back. That is also disrespectful. I have no regrets about my actions with them.

The service manager, Andy P******, does not even know the meaning of customer service. He thinks it's perfectly normal for customers to wait hours in his waiting room for a simple oil change. I complained to him and told him it was **. He put in the computer that I threatened his employees and to never service my car again. If this is how you handle a customer complaint, you should be fired. Buyer beware. Do not do business with these people. They are dishonest and aren't worth your time.

As a business, we realize the importance of consumers and we do not like to turn away customers, especially in the Service Department, we like to build and establish a long term relationship with our customers and their vehicles, however, that doesn’t mean that our employees should be subject to vulgar, racial and insulting comments because the customer is unhappy about something that is out of our control.

Looks like I was correct about Mountain view being dishonest. This manager is obviously in CYA mode. I never threatened anyone nor did I ever use racist slurs. That is an outright lie. The vulgar words were when I said it is ******** to have to wait two and a half hours for an oil change that was two weeks prior.
