Charleston, WV and Huntington, WV - On Saturday, April 16th, the BBB will host its Annual Shred & E-cycle Events at two locations, Charleston & Huntington West Virginia. Businesses and individuals are asked to bring old credit card statements, IRS tax records, credit card offers, or anything that lists personal information to be commercially shredded.
The event will be held 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at 2 locations: BBB Offices at Boulevard Towers Building (parking lot), 1018 Kanawha Blvd E, Charleston, WV (please enter off Leon Sullivan and exit onto Dunbar) and the Kroger Grocery Store (parking lot) located at 2627 5th Avenue, Huntington, WV.
There is no charge for these events, however monetary donations to the BBB Charitable & Educational Fund are welcome and appreciated in order to continue to provide this service. The event will be held rain or shine.
E-cycling of old electronics will also be available. The following items will be collected; those with a fee are marked. Batteries (no alkaline), Cable, CD's, Cell Phones, Circuit Boards, Computers, Consumer Electronics, Game Consoles, Ink & Toner Cartridges, IT Equipment, Keyboards, Laptops, Mice, Modems, Monitors*, MP3 Players, Network Equipment, Phone Systems, Printers, Routers, Satellite Boxes, Servers, Speakers, Switches, Telecom Equipment, flat screen TV's* , UPS Units, Video Games, Wire.
* Monitors with glass tube - $5.00 disposal fee
* NO tube-style TV’s
