On Saturday, October 17th, the Better Business Bureau will host its 2nd annual Identity Protection Event in Dover. Businesses and individuals are asked to bring old credit card statements, IRS tax records, credit card offers, or anything that lists personal information to be commercially shredded onsite.
E-cycling will also be available, with the following electronic items accepted: Batteries (non alkaline), Cable, CD's, Cell Phones, Circuit Boards, Computers, Consumer Electronics, Game Consoles, Ink & Toner Cartridges, IT Equipment, Keyboards, Laptops, Mice, Modems, Monitors*, MP3 Players, Network Equipment, Phone Systems, Printers, Routers, Satellite Boxes, Servers, Speakers, Switches, Telecom Equipment, Televisions*, UPS Units, Video Games and Wire.
*There will be a $20 disposable fee for computer monitors and televisions with tubes.
Drop off will be from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at Buehler's parking lot located at 3000 N Wooster Ave in Dover, just off I-77 at Schneiders Crossing Rd exit. There is no charge to drop off your items, however monetary donations to our charitable and eductional fund are welcome and appreciated, so we may contineue to provide this event.
