I bought a used **** Honda Civic from them roughly 2 years ago. Before I even pulled off the lot the Bluetooth was not working but was told that they’d give me a appointment to fix it. That never happened even after the man who sold me the car kept calling me periodically I always made mention and was just ignored. Was told that it had never been a accident when I bought it. A little over a year after owning it there was a snow storm that put hail damage on the car so I had it fixed at a body shop. The body shop said that a fender hood and bumper had been replaced and repainted sometime in the past and it wasn’t me so it had to either be goldy or the previous owner and goldy didn’t disclose that information. Then in August of 2021 I had the civic towed in to there repair shop because of It smelling gasoline and wanting to not start. After a few days of back and forth phone calls they diagnosed the issue and told me that it was covered under warranty and that I would have a rental. They said they would contact the warranty company and have a rental all set up and they would call me at noon the next day or sooner. I end up calling the next day after noon because nobody tried to contact me. I end up getting told that now I have to call the warranty company which I don’t know why I wasn’t told that in the first place. I call them and I ended up finding out I only get a 5 day warranty and they only cover $35 a day of a rental. That wouldn’t do because the part on my car was on national back order and the estimated time of repair was unknown. So I call goldy back and they start to act dumb and say they never said I would have a rental or a vehicle until mine was repaired. Which in the days dealing with them and multiple phone calls I was always assured I would be taken care of on that issue. So I went to another dealership and worked a deal with them for my broken Honda in on a trade and they had my car towed from goldy to them and the car was a complete mess. Goldy just tossed dirty and nasty car parts into the interior of a fairly clean vehicle which made it look like my Honda was sitting at a junk yard. Based on this experience I would have to say this goldy cares about you up until the point you sign on the line to buy the vehicle. They do everything in there power to make it sound like they’re gonna help you and treat you nicely up until the point they actually have to do something they’d been telling you they would do. Nobody answers a phone there so you have to make multiple calls to get ahold of somebody. Leaving messages does no good nobody returns your calls. I just wanna warn other car buyers of how this place treats you post car purchase.
