At first when I started to get my business and personal taxes I thought they were a little on the higher side, however now I see the value in the work. Today when filing my personal return I got a refund too and I am pretty happy with their service. I will recommend their services to all. Especially my Accountant ***********************, at the *********** location.

Your store in ******** screwed up my taxes and as a result I owe cra, your store refuses to acknowledge any wrong doing, the owner laughs and thinks it's funny that his staff made a mistake and I owe because of it, corporate won't return my phone calls so maybe you'll return my calls when my lawyer gets involved, what a pathetic company from top to bottom totally incompetent in all areas.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had.. The tax person or whatever qualifications she had, which were probably a 2hr course, messed up my return.. She had absolutely no idea what she was doing and asked me what to put in the amount boxes on her computer.. After I told her I bought a house she did not have a clue that it is a tax write off I then called them and went back after feeling like she messed up the whole thing, with my land title to adjust the assessment..Next day I called to make sure they did it, NO SHE HAD NOT!! She said she'll get to it and reminded me she giving me a free tax filing next year.. As if I'm going back!!I checked my CRA 2 weeks later and the initial assessment is there but the reassessment it's still NOT submitted!!! This place is a joke!! Do not go there! ************ office on *********

H n R BLOCK SERVICE WAS OKAY BUT SUPER PRICEY N A REAL RIO IFF FIR SENIORS. MY TAX RETURN WAS SIMPLE N TOOK 20MINS. THEY CHARGED ME A RIP OFF TOTAL OF $160.00.!!!!! TOTALLY HIGH PRICE... I WILL NEVER GO BACK..BEWARE!!!

Not impressed with the new system of giving out a pre-paid credit card instead of cheques for instant returns.We were not informed of all the charges when using the card.Feel like we were scammed.

I know we all dread tax time because for me anyway, usually I have to pay them.BUT My goal is to have my taxes done by the best so ****** isn't sending me a notice that differs from the one my tax advisor has prepared for me.And my person and office for this is ********************* in the Bloor St West and ********************** and her group are the best and I have relied on their services for years.They are professional, welcoming, understanding of my angst about taxes, and finding a way to try to make me understand any confusion, questions, missing items, or what is and what isn't deductible and why. Even after the fact, if there are any inconsistencies, ***** insists on me bringing it back to her and she will rectify or sort any discrepancies with ****** or **** trust ***** and her group in that office. I know the work is to the dime. I know they know what they are doing. And I feel she will use her expertise to find the best return for me. I cannot say that for many of the other H&R Block offices. And I have gone to a few.I met ***** in a dispute for one of my H&R Block returns and have gone to her exclusively since.I highly respect ************************* work and expertise in every aspect of tax preparation and filing.

I had filed with H and R Block for the past 8 years using their online software and paying to have someone review it before I submitted it. This year the software was terrible. There was no warning regarding system requirements and I had never had an issue in the past. The software was constantly changing the yes/no toggles. It lost all of the CCA information from prior years. The people in the "tech" department told me to wait 24 hours and try again. That was a ridiculous suggestion and it didnt work. I ended up having to pay a second time to start a second return. One person told me that they were giving me a refund. When I had to call back regarding another issue I was told that they were unable to give a refund stating that only a manager could do that. Asked to speak to a manager and was told that a manager would contact me in 5-10 days. One of the two was lying. Word to the wise...avoid H and R block online software unless you enjoy spending hours on the phone with people that cannot help you, will lie to you and you will end up having to take your taxes elsewhere to have them done. You may or may not get a refund to your credit card.

******** has been filing our taxes for years when her branch shut down I panicked but when tax time was approaching she called me letting me know what branch she was with proof above and beyond

I was a customer with h&r ********************** for the last 6 years and this year will be my last I have never been so insulted and aggravated by a company not knowing a what their own policies are and secondly not being able to give pertinent information to be able to accomplish filing my taxes. I was also accused of claiming cerb when I have never claimed cerb I was made to run around for information they needed to achieve getting my taxes to be told on my return that we still cant proceed as they have to verify my employment due to the fact that my t4 is on paper only and now they arent able to give my employer a call until Friday bearing in mind I spent all or most of Saturday running around for information. Worst experience in my life
