I read the reviews and as it was all good plus it was a family business I hired ****. The quote was given and the day the floor was to be removed everything changed. They would have to add more at the front to allow for water to drain to the back. That was ok. Then after removing some of the old floor I was told by *** it would cost a bit more as the concrete was thicker than they had expected. When asked how much it was "a bit more". When the project was complete the little bit was ****. When the form was removed from the front pad there was a red brown stain from the form on the concrete. When I asked **** he stated it would go away as would the dark at the corner of the pad. After almost 3 months nothing has changed. Even the garage door does not go all the way down now as they raised the back by a few inches from where it was. When I emailed **** about this his response was "We poured to the bottom of the track that holds the garage door. Given that the garage is quite old, a new door would fix the issue it sounds like youre having. " I have had the door for over 20 years and it has always closed flush before. One can see where the new concrete is higher than the original but according to them I guess my door grew! **** was called and did return to clean the gobs of concrete that had poured over the sidewalk and chip off the mess left at the front of the pad the day after they finished the job. I still find it hard to believe anyone that cared about their work would leave such a mess. Please be careful with this business. Maybe they treated me this way as I am a senior and the garage was older. However I paid a fair price to be treated this way.
