I signed my contract on june 2021 to get the roofing done at Aug 30 2021. And paid $6000 as a deposit. And it has been ongoing nightmare. The date has been delayed multiple times. Finally we had date set on end of oct when the whether was great. And delivery truck came with material and Levi asked to pay the firat instalment of remaining which is about$9750 to supplier which sounded weird but I paid. Then material were dropped on the roof. However, levi did not send any roofer within promised dates. After 5 days passed, and we had to ask the materials taken off for safety reason. Then Levi made another promise that he would call me Jan 18 2022. So he booked the date for Feb 9. Same as last year, he asked me to pay the materials to supplier and I told him, I wont pay single dime unless I see someone on my roof. However, he keep ask me to call supplier and sort it out. So I called ***** ******* supplier and talked to Manager. He told me unless I pay the supplies they wont deliver. So, I had to pay for the supplies for it to start. Now the supplies on my driveway, No one on my roof. I would love to cancel this project with this company and find good roofer but I am afraid that I won’t be able to get my deposit back. I am just writing this email hoping to find some solution. We are also in the middle of selling house and getting new roof done was quite critical.
