About This Business

This business farms 20 acres of noble and hybrid grapes on location; 7 newly planted acres of grapes on the adjacent property, and two acres of apples. Their cellar is equipped to operate independently from harvest, press, crush, fermentation, aging and bottling.  Our property has various venue spaces available for rent as well as large customer areas.  The property has ample parking and a helicopter landing area.  40 Knots produces wines made from 100% Comox grapes and of that amount 90% are estate.  we also produce 4 ciders made from our apples.  We farm sustainably only using organic products, and our farming is biodiverse with companion plantings, bees and geese working the vineyard.  We employ locally and buy locally, and we are very active in our community with a commitment to the social well being of our community members.

Refund and Exchange Policy
We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. We ask the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to [email protected] to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.
Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges. Please contact the tasting room at (855) 941-8810 for return instructions.
Note: A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all canceled orders that were canceled during transport and before receipt.
