I am a builder and contacted PJM Exteriors this summer to quote one of our tiny homes. In early September I contacted them and gave them the go ahead to order material and to schedule the job. They sent out one of their supervisors to measure the material a couple of days later and I was told that the material would take 1-2 weeks and that it may be a few weeks before they can fit it in the schedule. After 6 weeks I followed up to see where I was at in the schedule and was told that they are too busy to fit my job in and that I should find another contractor to complete the work. I tried numerous times over the next few days to contact someone there to discuss it and was unable to get a call or email back. Eventually I spoke wit the owner and explained to him that they had already accepted the job and that I would not be able to recover from them walking away from it. He agreed to come out that day to look at the job and did another material measure (material was not ordered previously) and told me that he would work some evenings to complete the job. Another two and a half weeks later I again followed up as I had not heard anything and was again ignored despite numerous texts and phone calls. After a couple of days I finally got a call back and was told that the material was ready and that he would arrange delivery. I was told that they were hoping to finish another job but that they would pull a crew off of it for a couple of days so they could do mine. That evening I received a text message saying that the material would be delivered in the morning and he would tell me how to install it and that he was way to busy to help me any further. I am now left in a position where I am just a couple of weeks from completion with customers expecting delivery of their home and I have no way to have the exterior completed in this time frame.
